Chapter 7

Henrie calm down let him finish hear Kleo out Blair tries calming him down

"Kleo I don't have a kid I've always worn a condom who the hell is this chick" I yell

"Her name is Rylee Capri and I swear to you Henrie she's credible" he says

"So she's more credible then me your own brother who knows I've never been inside of this woman so how the fuck did I create this supposed child" I yell again

"No I believe you but you aren't letting me finish Henrie your emotions are taking over!" he says

"How old is this kid that is supposedly mine and what did this woman look like? And if course my emotions are taking over look at what you are telling me!" I ask

"Well she is black and very curvy and seems like a very nice lady and Dash is 8 like my son Rome so they could be friends" he says

"I'm sorry to tell you Kleo but you fell for a trap I never hooked up with a black woman not out racism it just hasn't happened so she's lying and 8 years ago I just got out of a relationship the fuck is this a sick joke" I say

I close my eyes and take a deep breath because my anger is exploding why now my life is good ughh and I look and try to listen

"Whatever continue" I say

"Do you remember Ashley Reynolds?" he says

"Yes she was my college girlfriend for 4 years!" I say

"Well apparently after your breakup she fell pregnant and tried to tell you but couldn't get in contact with you so she had Dash" he says

"Okay that makes more sense but how does this Rylee woman supposedly have Ashley's and my kid huh?" I ask

"Well Ashley fell into drugs and her social worker was Rylee who was her childhood best friend and she helped raised Dash. Ashley unfortunately passed away and left the kid with Rylee" I say

"Holy shit Ashley died she was so nice I can't believe this!" Blair says

"So this Rylee woman is so kind she's raising my son and what now she wants money all of sudden?" I say

"Its was Ashley regret that you and your son couldn't meet she tried everything to find or get in contact with you so Rylee is doing it for her son and she knows Ashley would wanted it" he says

"But that's not her son" I say

"Now that's where you are wrong she said she will let you meet him and be in his life but one thing she told me to tell you nothing and no one will take her son away from her she's doesn't want crap for us Archibald" he says

"So what do I DO?" I ask

"She gave you her card to call her cell  and I said you'd call tonight to set up a meeting with her"   he says

All of sudden Blair steals the card and my phone  and begins calling and I yell but she shushes me

"Hello is this Rylee Capri?" she asked

"Great I'm calling to tell you that my brother Henrie would love to meet you tomorrow at any time which is convenient for you!" she says

"Okay great sounds good he'll be there have a great day!" she hangs up

"Blair have you lost your damn mind I wasn't ready" I yell

"This is your son Henrie you're not about to be an idiot about it so tomorrow at 1pm at your favorite Cafe" she says

"I wasn't ready Blair you just rushed" I say

"What would your penpal say she's smart and nice you say I bet she would think this is the right thing to do!" she says

"What penpal?" Kleo ask

"The one Henrie has feelings for and wants to meet so bad" she says

"Yeah this probably just ruined that it doesn't matter all I need to think of is meeting this Rylee tomorrow" I say

"No but tell me is this penpal special?" he asked me

"I mean I've been talking to her for a year and she funny, and makes my day better we actually decided to create emails and talk through there now and I send her a message everyday and I was thinking of asking her what she thinks about meeting but I'm not sure all I can think about is my mind spinning" I tell him

"Well she sounds different then what you've been around for the past few years but it doesn't mean she'd walk away because of  Dash and if she does she not a real one okay lil bro"   he says

"Kleo I didn't say I was going to tell her but thanks I think you're right I need to relax and thanks for coming over" I tell him and hug him before he walks out to go home

Before going to bed I decide to go on my computer and shoot an email to her because it'd make me feel better

Hey,
I just wanted to tell you my day was bulldozed by a roller-coaster but I had to email you because I know it'd make me feel better I love that now I can message you everyday but you know what would make everything better holding you i wish I could I wish we had more then these screens between us sleep tight

I read it once more and send it and head off to bed because tomorrow is definitely not something I'm looking forward for how did this happen.

Rylee POV

I finally get home after a long day and tomorrow I'm nervous meeting this Henrie I hope it goes well I open a glass of wine for me and then go upstairs and check in on Dash whose asleep along with my mom I close the door and try not to make noise and head to my room and open my laptop and see an email from my favorite person I read it and he so sweet so I type to respond

We're a match made pair you've read my mind I had a bad day too. By reading your email makes me feel better I wish you could hold me too it's nice to have someone in your corner and  talking to you for this last year I feel like I have that

I turn of my laptop finish my wine and fall asleep because tomorrow awaits a new day
