I wake up early to make sure the house is already for today's barbecue and Blair is helping me so we talk as we set everything down where they are supposed to be
"Today should be fun!" Blair says
"Yeah I'm kind of nervous since Invited Rylee I hope she has fun and gets along with everyone" I say
"I mean with the family yeah as long as mom doesn't show her face but your work friends I doubt they are alot to take in" she
says
"They're not that bad Blair I mean they say stupid things but I doubt she'd hear it or they would say it I'm excited to see my son and I texted mom not to come over" I say
"That's one smart idea you had for the day" she says
"I mean today should be good but I'm excited for Wednesday night" I say
"Your birthday since when have you ever cared about turning a year older" Blair says
"Since I'll be meeting the first girl that actually means something to me you could say best birthday ever" I say smiling
"Aww I'm happy for you Henrie I've never seen, you talk about any girl like that" she says
"She's not like the others she's different and perfect for me I just know the connection is real in everything" I say
"That's good you're super close to meeting her hopefully she changes your asshole ways" Blair says
"Hey I'm nice I just say some things people can't take" I say
"Yeah okay answer would you want your son saying things you" say she tells me
"I mean not everything but I'm pretty good" I say
"Yeah sure look the catering just arrived and your phone just beeped" Blair says
"Okay can you get the door?" and I look at my phone and see a text from Kleo saying he'd be there in 5 minutes
I run upstairs to get last minute items and when I'm back my brother and his family are down waving
"Hey bro you look good!" he says
"Thanks for coming y'all look great too and Rome buddy it's good to see you i missed you " i say picking him up and hugging him
"Hey uncle Henrie me too and is this going to be a fun party?" he ask
"It should be my son will be here so you'll have a friend" I say
"Aww your sons coming I'm so excited to meet Dash" Camille says
"Since when does uncle Henrie have a son?" Rome ask
"Since now and he's gonna be your cousin" Kleo says
"Cool I've always wanted a cousin" Rome says
And then the door bell rings again and I go answer it and people start filling in and we head to the patio and outside
And we all start hanging out I'm talking to my friends and brother everyone having a good time but I keep wondering when Rylee is coming with Dash and I guess I'm stressed they won't come
"Hey man what has you edged up my best friend" Cole says
"Uhh just really waiting on someone" I say
"Ahh did you finally meet up with that hot little white girl you got it bad for over the internet my cousin" Beau says
"Haha funny no um I'm actually waiting on my kid" I say
"Bro I know you fucking lying you don't date women let alone have kids with one" Cole says
"Well I did and I don't need you saying shit like that when he's around Okay" i say
