Bruce wanted to slam the heads of Black Lightning and Lagoon Boy together. They were all just talking, talking, talking, about Nightwing being a mole. Enough so that even those who were once were fully on Dick's side were now rethinking the hero's loyalties.
"We don't even know who we're being told to trust!" Garth snarled to the room, "You've all admitted to know he has relations to someone along the lines of Ra's Al Goul!"
It was Arthur who spoke up in his ever calm, never raised, leadership tone, "If we condemn other for their heritage, most at this table would not be here, nor would many of our partners. Nightwing has not kept his family history a secret. All he did was not tell you his name. A right he has, and no one will be taking it way from him."
"We have a right to know!" Black Lightning countered.
Bruce felt his composure slip ever so slightly to frown.
Black Lightning turned on him, "Speak up old man. Defend your little welp."
"Defend him against what?" Bruce growled, "All I here is a biased opinion with no ground to stand on."
Black Lightning slammed his hand on the table with his temperament, "Do you even know where he is right now? He snuck way in the night twice now. Was missing most of the day yesterday. And is again, gone today. Where is he?!"
"He has a job." Diana deadpanned, "And school. He's also the leader of at least three other teams and other responsibilities. He is not at your beacon call. Same as everyone else."
"That still doesn't answer the question! Where is he?! What's so important that he can't be at a League meeting on a Saturday!"

Dick walked down the street with a grin he couldn't keep from his face. Kaldur was a step or two ahead of him, looking around in aw at the large city around them. They passed people, with no more than a glance, even all decked out as heroes. It was amusing to watch.
Kaldur looked back quizzically at Dick, "They do not... care?"
"We're in Jump City." Dick told him as if it answered everything, "When I was a Titan we ran around here all the time as heroes. People are just used to it by now."
"And why are we here?"
"Tell me, when the last time you explored the surface world for fun?"
Kaldur blinked at him, "For fun?"
"Yes. Happy Harbor doesn't count. Hard to learn about our world from one place."
"I see that point, but I don't know any other times I would have explored the surface world."
Dick grinned, "Great, because you are going to learn all about a big city."
Kaldur frowned over at him, "I do not see the point in this."
"Give me so credit." Dick grinned, "Not all training can be taught on a battle field or on a roof top." He cringed, that was not what he meant.
"Alright. Teach me than."
And so, Dick started with shopping and money. Kaldur had a good grasp of the money and customs, but when it came to blending in, he... lacked. Dick went through frenetically what each style of clothing could blend in where. Explaining in depth how clothing was a person's way of expressing themselves.
"And what way do you express yourself?" Kaldur butted in.
Dick looked down at himself without thinking. He had on his Nightwing suit with a humm, "More of a family symbol, but the black is to blend in. As for the lack of armor, it's because I'm an acrobat. I like to move." He looked over at Kaldur's suit, "How about I give an example. Kaldur, your suit. It's made out of highly flexible and water fluid material, mixed with amethyst coral husks. Out of all colors, you choose blue and red. They are the best to blend into the ocean beds. But I'm taking a bed that's no the reason you choose them. The way you stand and the formality suggests you've had high level military training and not just magical studies. As for your water bearers on your back. I take it, your more used to a longer pole or trident and reaching back is a habit long before. And the hair is because, long hair is a hassle."
