The sound of water crashing against itself fills his ears, it is a sound he is unable to know if he finds comfort in or not. Yet here he stands watching and listening to anything that comes his way, with open arms he is not rejecting a singular thing. A man who stands before the many lies he has told is one who must face them sooner or later if he is a coward and hides from them. Is he able to call himself a man at that point? Is he able to consider himself a being of pride if he is not able to face all the things he has done?

In his mind, that answer is no. His lies are what has made him the man he is today, he is a damned liar, meant to fall to his sins. Yet if he is to fall, he in his mind will never be met with a better fate than the one he sets himself to follow.

"I wish you could see what has become of me now" he whispers out against the noise that surrounds him. The noise and everything that traps him in the space he is in now. The ones he may never remember, just like everything he has ever seen or done. Will he remember the cruel things he has done if it doesn't benefit him in any way? A sinister smile pulls at his lips as he looks down at his hands. His pale skin is covered in a crimson red that he has grown so comforted by. "Maybe if you were still here, you would be proud. But I highly doubt it would be you by my side." he sighs out looking at them as they sit motionless next to him, in the corner of his eyes he sees their chest fall and rise with rough and almost nonexistent breaths. His head tilts to the side as anger boils in his blood. "If you are still here why don't you answer?" he snaps, turning his whole body to face them. He remains silent, only able to hear them slightly over the noise that he has become a part of. He tries hard to never be annoyed by anything they do. As they are the reason he is here today, the reason he is able to live with himself.

"It hurts, everything," they mutter under their breath as blood pools from their lips, trailing down their figure as it collects in a puddle under them. One they are stuck in, one they cannot wish to escape. He sees them try to pull themselves up from the ground and move from the rock they were leaning against. But they fail just as they did before.

"Do you regret anything that you've done? Do you think you could've lived with yourself knowing in the past that this is what you would've become?" he questions, as he takes the place next to them, they don't move as they softly breathe out, pain evident in their tone.

"I'm sorry for you, I loathe the person you've become..." they whisper, coughing loudly as blood once more finds itself leaving them. He can only hum as he leans his head against their shoulder. His hand rests just under their chin, forcing them to look at him, a sense of admiration fills him once more as he looks at them. His heart is racing at the emotions that flash intensely in their eyes.

"Sorry for me?" he murmurs, pressing his lips softly to their cheek, they once more don't move away from him, as if they could ever wish to leave him. He knew that even if they said the words they did. He was the only person they ever could love, and in a way, he felt the same. That they were the only person he could ever love. Love in such a way that couldn't be explained by simple words. Only explained by the emotions that took over. "If you should be sorry for anything, it should be the place that you are in now."

"It is pointless to feel sorry for myself when I know what fate I'll be doomed to. You however will leave this place," they mutter, eyes closing slower than before. "Everything will come crashing down on you... you'll be seen as the cruel man you've always been." he scoffs at their response yet he doesn't pull away from them as he smiles.

"In a matter of minutes you won't be able to tell me anything else, why should I care what you think of me now?" he chuckles, pressing a hand to his cheek and looking at them as they roll their eyes, shifting their head to look away from him.

"You cared moments before. Have I hurt your feelings?" He senses their tone filled with mockery which causes him severe annoyance. He huffs but keeps the smile on his lips. He once more grabs their chin this time with more anger behind his actions.

"You have assumed wrong, after today this will be the last thing you see," he whispers out, watching their eyes dull slowly. The pain and bleeding get to them faster than before. "The people you hold close to will never see you again..." he stops, his voice falling as he gets lost one more time in the eyes he once held dear to him. "I can promise you, they'll never find you."
