I'd Love To

Chapter 3

••McKenna P. O. V.••
I checked my schedule to see what class I had next. Ugh! Stupid math.

I walked into the class and just as I'd suspected, full of nerds! Guess it serves me right for choosing the enriched class. I was relieved to see that that annoying blonde brat and her friends weren't there, but that also meant I didn't know anyone seeing as no one had spoken to me yet.

I went to the back of the classroom to find a seat, next to the electric outlet of course!

I pulled out my brand new iPhone 6 plus (gift from my mom, duh!) and quickly logged on to the school wifi. I checked insta to see how many likes my most recent pic had. What? Only 256? I was used to getting close to 500 after only a few hours! Something was up. I didn't look at the others in my class. I spent the entire period on my phone

As I was leaving the classroom, trying to figure out how this new schedule worked, I bumped into the most amazing creature I'd ever seen. He had shaggy brown hair that slightly fell over his eyes, a beautiful shade of blue.

I was so struck my his great looks that I managed to drop my math textbook and binders. We both bent down to pick it up and I blushed as we bumped heads. "Sorry," I said, laughing nervously. He was so hot!

"No problem..." he said, returning my books to me, "McKenna" he replied, seeing my name written on my binder. This was exactly like all the movies!! He winked at me and was then gone before I could ask his name.

I eventually found my next class, but it was harder to find than you'd think. The school is huge and it was in one of these random secret hallway things that isn't actually a hallway? Yep, it's as confusing as it sounds!

I recognized a few people from my previous classes but none that actually looked worthy of talking to.

This time, I sat in the very front because it was geography! It's my absolute favourite class because I just love learning about new places to travel to!

I was surprised to find that kid from home room who was into drumming sitting next to me. I didn't expect him to be the front row kind of guy. "Hey," he said. Shoot! I couldn't remember his name!

"It's McKenna, right?" he smiled at me it was then when I actually realized that he was kind of cute. He had short blonde hair that was gelled up in the front and these piercing green eyes which were very distracting.

"Yeah" I smiled back at him, flashing my perfectly straight and whitened teeth. Hmm, maybe I'd start to like this school...

••Hallie P.O.V••
My first actual class of the day was science. It's one of my favourite classes since some day I hope to be a very successful doctor.

Jaymi was also in my class. Yay! We sat together in the middle so that we could see the teacher and also be able to get away with talking.

I was about to put my phone on silent when I get a text from Big that read: URGENT

I quickly typed a reply:
in class, what is it?!?! Is it really important? Life or death?!?

The reply came almost immediately:
naw it's not that important. Talk later?

I wondered what it was about. It's weird that he didn't text Jaymi. We always told each other everything in our group chat called BIG'S D(IARY) ahaha inside joke that makes me laugh every time I see it!

Anyway, I knew something was up...
