Chapter 15

McKenna P. O. V.

I sat at home by myself eating barbecued chicken with sweet potato and asparagus. My nanny had prepared it for me. Ever had arrived at the Shae's house. He said to wish him luck right before he went to dinner. So here I was all alone as usual. I turned on the tv and flipped through the Chanel's till I found toddlers & tiaras. I had always wanted to be a pageant girl. I obviously would have won. My mom always said she would never let me be in a pageant, she didn't want my beauty to go to my head. Meanwhile I found out the real reason was she used to do them as a kid and hated it. It's not fair that she hated but I would love it. The show was over...

A text from Ever. Finally.

E: so... Mrs shae insists you come over
K: I'm clearly not wanted
E: I want you!
K: and she doesn't. Which is a bit more tempting considering she would be pissed off.
E: get this she wants to know if you wanna sleepover
K: OMG. She would HATE that. So coming over ttyl
E: great see ya soon

Ever sent me the address and I got my nanny to drive me. The house was big. Not as big as mine. And certainly not as big as the one I guessed was Ever's next door. I hopped out of the car and walked up the driveway. I knocked on the door and ever opened it. He kissed me. I walked in. "Hi there I'm Mrs. Shae. Welcome make yourself at home. I don't know where the other two went. Wait here" said the woman in the kitchen. She went upstairs.

"Soo" I said to Ever not knowing what to say. "How's it going?" I finally said. "Haha Pretty good, I've only been here about an hour though" Ever said.
Hallie's mom came down stairs again, followed by Jaymi and Hallie herself. Jaymi said hi and Hallie looked at me. Rolled her eyes and said hi as well. Mrs. Shae told me to make myself comfortable and to put my stuff upstairs.

I took my bags and put them in the hallway upstairs beside Ever's room. He lay on his bed and I walked in. "Come here" he said while reaching out his arms.I hopped up on the bed. "Think we can sleep in the same bed tonight?" I asked. Ever pulled me in. "I don't wanna be kicked out of my new house do I?".

Hallie stood at the doorway "If u guys are done, were watching a movie downstairs if you wanna join" she said. "We're coming" I smiled back innocently.

We got downstairs and ever swung himself onto the couch. I lay next to him. Jaymi was on the beanbag chair and Hallie sat in the recliner. "What movie?" Ever asked. "I dunno what about 22 jump street" jaymi replied. "I hate that movie" I said. Ever looked at me shocked. "Sorry!" I said. Hallie suggested clueless. I Liked that idea but Ever refused. Hallie then said "Maze runner?!". "No, you say that every single time." Jaymi said. "Never seen it" Ever said. "Same" I said. "Fiiiine, maze runner. Put it on. It's on Netflix I think."

Hallie put it on and me and Ever snuggled closer. About 15 minutes into the movie, we weren't paying attention anymore. I was straddled on Ever's lap while we made out. We didn't even notice Hallie turn the movie off and turn on the lights until jaymi started talking really loud. "Ya, hi. This isn't gonna work out for us." She went. "That's fine with me, put it back on" ever said this time only pecking me on the lips. I got off of him and said that maybe we can do something else, I turned to Ever, and continue this later.

Then jaymi suggested me go to the park that is just past Ever's house. "No, my mom hates when we do that. " Hallie whined. "That sounds like fun!" I said. Hallie  rolled her eyes.  We got our stuff and jaymi dragged Halliie out the door

"I should stop and get some stuff from my house" Ever said ass we stood  on the sidewalk next door. His house was really enormous. There was white stone  walls will fancy columns, a 6 car garage and a grand foyer you could almost see from the outside. It lost looked like the White House in Washington. 

Ever disappeared into the huge building for about 10 minutes. In the mean time I stood there trying to ignore the other two.

"Isn't it weird how you've known each other for a day and your already dating?" Jaymi said. "Not really, when your as pretty and perfect as me it kind of just happens" I shrugged. Hallie tried to hide her laugh by almost gagging. Jaymi and her just looked at each other. "I was being sarcastic..." I said trailing off while slowly looking away.

Ever returned he had a 6 pack of beers. "Nope, not happening my mom will MURDER me." Hallie said. "Well then il take the blame if she finds out" he said. "Pass it" Jaymi said. Hallie gasped at her and looked shocked. Ever handed her a bottle. Me too! I said. He opened it drank some and passed it back. Hallie had the smallest sip of jaymi's. We drank and drank Ever went back into his house for more beers and other things like Vodka. The three of us were drunk. Normally when I'm drunk I get really hyper. I was bouncing around every where making a complete fool of myself. "I'm a cheerleader!! Watch. Ready? Ok. Go me go me gooooooo McKenna woooo!!!" Ever apparently drunk gets Horner. " your the sexiest cheerleader I've ever seen". Jaymi gets laid back, she lay on the ground looking at the stars not speaking. And Hallie sat and used her phone. It had been an hour since they came here. "Can we go home now?" Hallie said. "Yes please" Jaymi said getting off the ground. "OKKKKK!" I screamed. "Shhh" Ever whispered. We went back over to the house. I tried to be as quiet as possible. Which I guess wasn't to quiet. Hallie went upstairs "screw you guys I'm going to my room". Jaymi curled up on the ground of the basement just like that and was instantly knocked out. Ever and I went to the bed and he pulled out what he had really gone in his house for.
