McKenna POV

"C'mon babe skip next period. If I can miss English you can ditch Gym." Ever said. "I would, but not today. It's the first week and Mr. Sodier scares me." I said back. "Ok fine, il go to class too, but lemme walk you to yours first. Ever's friends had already left. Me and him were walking back from the field alone together. We got to the class and my teacher said "your 6 minutes late, and you Ever Lawson know better get out of my gymnasium before I call the office. McKenna I wish you luck, not a great way to start out the semester by hanging out with this one". Ever smiled and looked him straight in the eye and then lent over and kissed my cheek "bye babe" he said to me he winked at Mr. Sodier and then turned to go to his class.

Ever is so perfect and we are just so good together. I mean the attention that I'm getting from everyone first of all. I love it. And second he's sweet and sooooo hot. But I'm still kinda very confused what happened before I came to lunch. He tried explaining it to me;
I saw you as you walked into the school. I looked at Jess and said I like that girl. What I like I get. It was simple once I saw you in math. All I did was casually bump into you after class and as I smiled and helped you pick it up we connected. Lunch yesterday was pure luck. I walked past you and Big and introduced myself. After Starbucks yesterday and texting a bit last night I want sure if you had takin the hint that I wanted to date you. So I told my friends to tell a couple people we were together already. Once that spread around I figured you would here and figure it out that I wanted you forcing you right into my arms. Why are we so comfortable together? Because if you ask anybody else we've been dating since last night. Get it?

I didn't quite comprehend that. All I knew is that I know he liked me, he'd pre thought everything through and that he had in someway used his charm and popularity to lie to everyone. And that was what turned me on most about him. It was 100% stalker like and li did scary what he did and how much thought he put into this. But in the end, I am hot, I deserve a boyfriend, and let's face it I need friends.

Class went by quickly I texted Ever saying I was going to my locker. 5 minutes later he still hadn't replied saying where I should meet him. Then I was added to a group chat. I checked who it was:

Logan- L
Jess- J
August- A
Ever- E
McKenna- k

The name of the group chat was the blood brothers. They were texting like mad.

McKenna was added to this conversation.
A: I added her
J: no shit I have eyes
M: dude tell her
L: I cant.
M: why not?
L: I don't know the full details.
A: well he said he was meeting after school so say something.
J: is this even her number?
A: I'm pretty sure.
L: then why isn't she replying
M: McKenna???
K: Ya I'm here I'm trying to reply but ur typing too fast
A: sorry. K Logan tell her
K: tell me what.
L: Ever's at the hospital.
J: it's serious.
K: O my god is he okay?

Great I thought. My boyfriend of 2 hours is dead right now!!!!

L: it's not him, it's his mom.
M: they pulled the plug.
J: he's been saying it would happen any day now for months.
K: I'm not getting it?
A: Ever's mom has been in a coma for 3 years.
K: wow
A: today they let her go.
K: as in she died?
L: well technically she was already dead.
J: anyways he told us to tell you
K: is he upset? What should I do.
A: No he was never close with her anyway. She was just the lady that lived at his house. His dad is away on business and he isn't in town until next month. He's in the heart of Africa
M: he's the only one who can tell you what you should do.
K: I'm going to go meet him.

Ever spoke in a calm, monotone voice, "i have to go live with the neighbours." I had gotten there about 30 minutes ago and he had explained his bad relationship with his mother. His dad had just left and his grandmother was supposed to watch him.  "My servants can't be left in charge of me and my grandma is losing her marbles. Mrs. Shae invited me over. For the time being, I have no choice." He continued. I stroked his arm and apologize led again for the sucky situation. I stayed for another hour or so until Ever got his driver to bring me home.

Where have I heard the last name shae? Wait a second. Hallie. Yep Ever will be living with Hallie. That gives her more chances to flirt with him, what if he likes or even gets along with her. Haha, probably not. At least I'm the one with the hot Boyfriend.
