Chapter 11

••McKenna P. O. V••

Lunch couldn't come fast enough. Ever wasn't in math class. And now I'm sitting alone in geography.

"Hey, um your in my Drama class right?" I said to the quiet looking girl near to me. "Oh yeah, your the new girl with Ever." "Ya... That's me..... Anyways I was wondering if you could help me. So um... Why do people keep asking me about him?" I said. "Him?" She asked. "Ever? why do people keep looking at me and asking if we're dating or laugh when Hallie said something this morning in class, I don't understand." "Oh got it" she whispered "so Ever doesn't date many people from our school, he's gorgeous as you know but a huge Fuck boy. Anyways, gossip travels. I don't know what to tell you now, you shared a secret with Hallie, your screwed. And just so you know... it's not that they're staring at you because you were with him. You've single handedly taken over this school on ur second day. Gotta go now." She said. Wow I thought, this girl beside me in the cat sweater was not as quiet as I thought.

Class ended and I had another text:
E: South wing of the school.

I stopped by a mirror to check my hair and makeup. I adjusted my shirt, took a deep breath and walked towards him.

"Hey, what's up" he said. "Nothing much I guess" I awkwardly smiled. "So what's going on?" I asked. Silence. "Wanna eat with my friends?" He said. I agreed and he held my hand.

Everyone in the hallway starred at us as we walked past hand in hand. I wanted to blush or say something but I couldn't think properly. I kept my normal self confidence up and flipped my hair over my shoulder.

After what seemed like a million years we got outside to the back field. "You'll be fine" he said as he let go of me and put his hand on my shoulder. I guess I looked terrified, why else would he have said that. I took another deep breath and hid that emotion.

A guy in a navy blue v neck shirt came up to us. "This is Jess, over there is Michael, Logan and August. Guys, come here" he shouted. I took a step back, slightly behind Ever. "This is McKenna, she's new here and we're friends now. Right?" He gestured to me. "Well you kinda kidnapped me here sooo I'm not sure." they laughed. I sat down on the grass and they did to. Ever slid behind me so my head was on his chest.

This was so weird, I honestly didn't know what was happening. But I was really enjoying it. "I'm Michael." the first guy spoke, "jess" said the boy in the navy with the messy brown hair. "August" a tall muscular boy said. "That means your Logan, I guess" I said to the shyer blond.

" So McKenna, your with Ever now. Lucky you. Every Junior..." "every one in the school you mean" August budded in. "would kill just to hang out with one of us" Jess said. The guys laughed and continued talking amongst themselves while Ever went back to playing with my hair.

I blushed. Now I have no idea what's going on. Nobody told me that you walk to Starbucks with a guy and suddenly your dating.

"Can I talk to you for a sec" I turned around asking Ever.

He got up and walked near the fence. "What's up babe" he said. "This!"I said. "You owe me a big explanation here. I've know you for maybe less than 24 hours now and everyone thinks we're dating. Your calling me babe, saying we're a 'big deal' whatever that means and now your acting like nothing's new. Are we dating or something" I glared at him.
"Want something formal, fine." He said getting down on one knee. I sarcastically gasped. "This one day I've known you has been the best 24 hours of my life. Every minute without you I'm miserable. Will you Mckenna Cass Mariano do me the honour in being my girlfriend ?" I laughed and wrapped my arms around him "But now your kinda scaring me, and how do you my middle name." "Babe, I'm rich and my dad basically owns this place." He said laughing and sweeping the hair out of my face.

We returned to the guys. "Well congratulations toast to the newlyweds I guess" Logan said holding up his pop can. "To us" I shouted. "To you" they cheered.

K, so Ever is supposed to be kinda jerky, good boyfriend and like kinda bad boyish but that's why I like him so deal. Anyways, camp so like bye.
