"Damnit..." You cursed under your breath.

You decided to leave the area in case the Agent was still lingering around.

You weren't heavily injured, only a few scratches and a faint mark on your neck where the Agent held his knife to you. No blood was drawn, to your luck.

You picked up your pace and you exited the camp. A shame, really - you wanted to scavenge for anything special or important.

Retracing your steps, you headed right. Eventually, you find yourself back on the path you were treading before. You continued to follow the path, your polearm still in hand.

The trees got thinner and thinner as you exited Wolvendom. Vaulting over a fallen log, you were met with the shining sun.

"Oh Archons, thank you." You let out a sigh of relief.

The sun was still high in the sky, so you hadn't spent too much of your time wandering the woods of Wolvendom.

You reached Springvale not long after. You slowed down as the village came into view.

Nobody was around. It was too quiet for a day like this - usually there would be children running around, yelling and laughing.

You wandered around the village. You passed Draff's place. The head hunter of Springvale was gone too. You turned the corner and you saw that an area that would have usually been empty was dotted with tents.

More tents? You couldn't see inside them - the tents were all closed.

You spotted Draff to your far right, talking to some other people, a sombre expression on his face. You would ask him something later, since he appeared to be quite busy.

You turned the other way. Approaching some other villagers who seemed to be lingering around with no real sense of purpose, you asked them what was up with the tents.

"The meteorites from the meteor shower are dangerous. My friend touched one and they just collapsed. People are falling into deep slumbers and they aren't waking up," one villager said.

A deep sleep...? That was unheard of. Your brows furrowed in confusion as you asked, "Has this happened before?"

"Not that we've heard of," another villager said, shaking his head.

"So it's only been this meteor shower that's causing this? How odd." You mumbled to yourself. Raising your voice for clarity, you continued, "Are there any other victims and if so, have any woken up? Are there any other injuries or just falling asleep?"

The brown haired villager looked slightly taken aback by the amount of question you were asking but answered anyways.

"There have been many other victims, but none have woken up yet. We haven't found a way to wake them, either. That's why we set up some tents, to take care of them and hopefully they'll wake up on their own."

"There haven't been any other sustained injuries from any of them, as far as we're concerned."

Meteors that induced a slumber when one touched them but did not cause any other injuries. It was peculiar, indeed, but at least nobody was getting seriously hurt.

You thanked the villagers and continued on your way to Mondstadt, picking up your pace. You wanted to inform Katheryne with what you've found out and hopefully secure a commission or two regarding this new meteor shower. It piqued your curiosity, for sure, but you were also a little hesitant. Something was definitely going on.

You were more than halfway through your journey, and the sun was still shining. But still, you had the uncanny feeling that you were being followed, or watched, at the very least. You brushed the feeling off but you decide to jog the rest of the way to Mondstadt anyways.
