You sat on the table in the restaurant waiting for Steve to come. Your phone chimed with a message from Bucky.

Bucky: He's wearing a brown leather jacket with white tee. Tall blonde with blue eyes.

You read the message and looked around and saw a man with the same description walking in and looking at his phone. He then looked up and his eyes roamed around and soon spotted you. He smiled and walked towards you. "Hi. You Y/N? " He asked.

"Yes. You must be Steve." You stood up and shook his hand.

Steve nodded, "Yeah. Please sit." He motioned to your chair. " So.... You know about me right? Has Bucky told you?"

"He did. He said he knew you since you were kids. So I asked him." You said. "Sorry if you didn't like it."

"It's fine. I understand." Steve said. "So what do you do for work?"

"I work at a coffee shop." You said. "What about you?"

"Business" Steve said. "Have you heard about Rogers Enterprises?"

"Yeah. I have. You own it?"

"I do. Gotta do something to keep myself busy." Steve said.

"Can I ask you something? You don't have to answer..."

"Go ahead, Y/N." Steve smiled.

"How old are you?" You asked.

Steve sighed, "I'm.... 239 years old."

"Now that's one big age gap." You said.

Steve let out a small chuckle, "Yeah. You're okay though right? I mean if this worked out you'd be okay to date a vampire?" Steve whispered the last part.

"Steve. I'm fine with it. I agreed to do this because Bucky trusts you. And I trust him. So yeah. I'm okay with dating you." You said, emphasising you.

"Thanks." Steve nodded as the waitress came to get your orders.

🧛‍♂️🧛‍♂️🧛‍♂️

The date was the best you had in your whole life. Like Bucky said, Steve was the perfect gentleman. Not wanting to push you into staying the night at his house. He respected your wishes. But he insisted on walking you up to your apartment.

"I had fun. Thanks Steve." You said as you stepped out of the elevator on your floor.

"Me too." Steve said. "I hope we can do this again?" He asked nervously.

"Yes. Of course." You said and saw Steve's eyes moving down to your lips and then back to your eyes.

Steve let out a deep breath and asked, "Can I kiss you, Y/N?"

You didn't answer but instead leaned on your toes and kissed his soft lips. You felt him smile in the kiss and his arms wrapped around your waist, supporting you against him.

Steve pulled away and rested his forehead against yours, "I like you, Y/N." He said.

"I like you too, Steve." You said.

"So, can I take you on a date next Friday?"

"Sure." You said.

Steve nodded and removed a card from his pocket, handing it to you. "Here's my number. We can text if you like."

"Thanks, Steve." You said.

"I should get going." Steve said. "Have a good night, Y/N." Steve said and pushed the elevator button.

"Same to you, Steve. Good night." You said and opened your apartment with your key. You turned around and saw Steve standing.

"I won't go unless you go in. I want to make sure you're safe." Steve said.

You chuckled and pushed open your door, stepping inside. "Happy?"

"Yes. Good night, Y/N." Steve stepped in the elevator and waved at you as the doors closed.

You were certainly going to have a good night.

Dreaming about Steve.
