In the wall

Kurtis wakes up with a jolt, hitting his head on a piece of wood.
"What the-," Kurtis starts, until he takes a second glance. Hours earlier, Kurtis had gone to sleep in his own bed...so where was he now? And how did he get there?

Shaken, Kurtis stands up. His legs are like saplings, weak and trembling out of fear. Its dark in this mystery place, but light seems to come in from up ahead. Kurtis decides to follow the light, for the glow is comforting and familiar. As he tries to reach the light, Kurtis sees more and more of the situation he is in.

The walls are tall as sycamores, and overlap like scales of a dragon. There are thick snake-like branches intertwined in the walls, and what looks like fur stuffed in the cracks. The floor is thin and dusty, and littered with round metal spikes. A large matchbox is to Kurtis' left, and a half opened sardine can is to his right. The room had interesting decor, with mice paintings and cheese blocks scattered throughout. The nightstand near the bed looked like a thimble, and the decorative pillows looked like giant pom poms.

Strange, Kurt thought, but everything became stranger when he reached the light. The humming glow was coming from a large archway. The archway had teeth marks all around it, and on the otherside of the archway was carpet.

Kurtis was happy to see carpet, because the ground of the mystery location felt like he had been stepping on 87 nails and 7 pushpins.

The carpet beyond the archway was tall, going up to Kurtis' knees, and it was a shaggy teal. The carpeted room was large but kind of empty, the only furniture being big blobs in the distance.
"Whoever kidnapped me must be big," Kurty said, when he suddenly felt a chill down his spine. This house was big...because he was small....
