It seemed as if Margaret was determined to never leave my side, as she designated herself as my personal nursing aid. Maybe out of gratitude for helping with the whole Jimmy situation, guilt of my own injuries or maybe to keep herself busy and forget about her own predicament.

Maybe a combination all three, who knows?

Either way, she and another nurse decided to help me into a wheelchair, with Gabe bringing the car around the front door of the hospital. Stifling a scream, I let my body collapse into the movable comfort. My ribs ached, my head throbbed, my leg screamed in agony and my other noticeable injuries made themselves noted.

News flash: car injuries suck major ass.

My eyes having spotted vision, I apparently missed the entire trip down to the front door. Gabe flashed me a smile, his rounded cheeks flushing a soft pink.

"Heya doc. Ready to head home?" He asked, holding the door open.

"Yeah I... is someone in the car?" I ask, noting a figure in the car.

"Yeah, that's my friend. His name is Aaron and I was gonna add one more friend, Byron. Is that okay? Those are the only two guests I have."

Looking at Aaron, I smirked. "And is Aaron a special kind of friend for you, Gabby Gabe?"

Blushing a deep red, Gabe began sputtering. "S, shush Sierra! He's gonna hear you!"

Just as Gabe said that, Aaron turned to smirk at Gabe, blowing him a kiss in the process. Gabe swiftly turned with his ears burning red to match his cheeks.

I winked, cackling as I said my next remark. "Don't be silly, wrap your willy!"

Staring at her, Gabe could only become a darker shade of red. "How much pain medicine did they give you? And also how can I legally knock you out to shut you up?"

Looking to Margaret, Gabe only sighed. "Please help me get your half delirious aunt into the car before I finish the job and kill her!"

Both of them helped me into the car, barely hearing my pained hisses and concealed cries. Margaret helped put my seatbelt on as she hopped in the seat next to me. Meanwhile Gabe sat next to Aaron and pointedly turned away from Aaron's suggestive expression.

Listening to the country music being played, I leaned my head against the window, the cold glass a pleasant change to the burning pain. Tired from both pain and the medication, I decided to take a nap until we got to my home.

Feeling the car hit something shook me awake. I could only shake as I remembered and felt the phantom pains.

I felt the glass imbed itself into my leg, tearing through muscle and fat. I felt hands lifting my near dead body, with a phantom pair of hands wrapping around my throat. Restricting my air, bruising my skin, taking my life...

Taking my life...

Taking... my life?

No, that's not what happened...

Right?

"Ke... p..."

"...ti...  wa... u..."

Who is that? My life wasn't taken...

I called the cops... I crashed the car and got away...

"Wa... e... up..."

"Wake up, Auntie! It's a bad dream, wake up!"

My eyes shot open, feeling Margaret shaking me by my good shoulder. Looking around wildly, I saw we were at my home, and parked. Shaking my head, I focused my eyes on my scared niece, worried receptionist and his concerned love interest.
