A/N: Hello lovelies!! Now I need to let every one know a trigger warning will be placed as there is mention of SA in this chapter but don't worry! Sierra delivers swift justice! Take care!
Stepping down the stairs, I kept my eyes darting left and right, my body loose and flexible. Sometimes, I heard the scampering of a rat's claws on the cold cobblestone to keep me company, but otherwise, it was silent.
There lay a few broken monitors on the wall, crooked or just smashed onto the ground. Spotting a single unbroken one, I pulled out one of Presley's gadgets, a USB that would immediately start hacking devices to send out a silent S.O.S back to the group, letting them know where I was. But just as I did...
"Moon! Moon, can you hear me?!"
Zane?
Hearing the voice pierce my ears, I touched the receiving earring I wore. "Moon here. Whatcha got, Sir?"
"Jesus, thank goodness you're alright. Me and the others are on our way, we just got your alert. But Moon, you've got to be careful, Presley's figured some shit out and it's not looking good. Whatever you do, DO NOT get captured. I know that normally goes without saying, but this? It spells bad in a whole new way."
"Don't worry Sir. I'm doing my best to kill whoever I come across. No survivors to help Jimmy build up his business this time around."
"Ok just... stay safe girlie. We'll be there soon. Over and out."
"Over and out."
Ending the transmission, I looked around, making sure no one snuck up on me in the exchange. I saw nothing but I heard muffled whimpering. My curiosity and worry getting the better of me, I put to use Jones' abilities to sneak around to use and stepped forward, my leg dagger drawn.
Edging around a corner, I could have thrown up.
TRIGGER WARNING
A girl, probably around thirteen or fourteen, was shackled to a wall, crying out as a grown man thrusted into her. Our eyes locked and trying to crawl away, she silently mouthed the words 'help me'.
Drawing my shotgun with silencer attached, I shot a straight bullet to his right temple, his body falling away from the adolescent.
I ran up to teen, still shaking at what had been done to her. Using a hir pin, I worked for a good minute lockpicking her shackles before releasing her. Falling to her side, I knew she must have been here for a while based on the mark littering her body.
Spotting a robe, likely used for when guards needed a quick release, I offered it to the girl, trying to salvage whatever dignity of hers that I could.
TRIGGER OVER
"T, thank you... thank you so, so much, miss." The girl's posh accent struck my ears. Turning around, I saw she was clothed once more.
"It's no problem at all. Are you... British?"
"Y, yes miss. I was walking home from school when someone took me away. I've been down here for... what day is it?"
"Uh, it's July 8th, sweetie."
"My last day at school was Febuary 16th..."
This poor girl has been stuck here for months...
"What's your name, hon?"
"M, my name? It's Ashleigh."
"Ok, Ashleigh. My niece, her name is Margaret, is down here somewhere. Have you seen her or where she may have been taken? She's got reddish brown hair, round glasses, green eyes..."
