'What the fuck is going on in Hawkins?'

Eden held both the twins on her hips as she walked up onto the front porch, Billie playing with her hair. She struggled to open the front door, before Lindy pulled it open for her from the inside. She sent her a thankful smile, lowering Billie down first. The little blonde ran into the house, her mum watching after her.
'Your friends rang,' Lindy noted.
'What'd they say?' She replied, placing Jesse down.
'To ring them... They seem mad.'
She hummed in reply, 'Probably are.'
'What happened?'
'I didn't help them with something... And yes, it was for the better.'
Lindy sighed, lowering herself down into her armchair before she smiled at Billie as she toddled toward her. She lifted the little girl up onto her lap, looking up at her daughter in law as Jesse went looking for a toy.
'You should get back to them, it sounded urgent,' Lindy reminded her; 'I can look after the kids.'
'There's something more urgent going on, I think,' Eden shook her head; 'I need to ring Steve.'
She moved into the kitchen, taking the phone from the hook to dial the Harrington boy's number. It dialled in her ear, before ringing dead. She huffed in annoyance, dialling the number for the video rental place he was now working at.
'This is Robin,' The cheery voice answered.
'Where's Steve?' Eden asked.
'Who's this?'
'Eden. Where's Steve?'
'Oh, hey, Eden. Um, he's out the back.'
'Can you get him?'
'Y-Yeh... Steve!'
Eden leant against the wall, crossing her arms over her chest; not missing the way her hands itched for a cigarette.
'Yo,' Steve's voice sounded in her ear.
'What the fuck is going on in Hawkins?' She asked.
'Oh, um... Chrissy Cunningham is dead. They think Eddie Munson did it cause it was at his uncle's trailer and he was the only one there.'
'Eddie Munson? The D and D leader?'
'Yep. But, anyway, he's missing now- Hey, what're you doing?'
'What?'
She could hear voices in the background as Steve argued with whoever it was, Robin's voice faint.
'Hey, Eden,' Dustin voice was suddenly in her ear.
