(WOOHOOO WE ARE DOING A SPEEDRUN
Timelapse, if you must, BUT YEAAAAA- anyways this chapter is brought to you by the author feeling sick as f*ck. )
Y/N POV
It's been two weeks since I started my job as the nightguard for the daycare area. I wasn't able to meet the other nightguard, Vanessa, but I often do wonder where she'd be. In any case, I'm sure she's focusing on her job as much as I am. Or more, to be honest I've been slacking a bit.. I cant resist it! The daycare is honestly one of the places I have the most fun at. Sometimes after my shift, I'd take a grand tour of the pizzaplex myself. Not too much though, since I get lost easily. Thanks a lot bad memory!
Everytime my shift starts, I always slid down to the fun. I'm not complaining, Sun and moon are great company. Although, moon is a bit closed off more than sun. I could tell he was the more strict one of the two. At times he could be quite rude than the Sun, even rough! But, he's quite the guy. I promise he isn't too bad as he seems. Noticed how I worded that. I don't expect moon to open up to me quite easily, and I don't mind waiting. I told him this myself. I'm willing to be his friend, and I'm ok with whatever speed he wants to take the friendship.
Now, Sun? He's a sweetheart! You could definitely tell he knows how to handle kids! Sometimes when I'm with him, he helps me with my hair. He did mention that at first he was alone at night and only had moon for company. But, moon sleeps so he's kinda just by himself. He's much more open and more sociable with what he thinks. He's such a comfort, and I'm glad I met him. The only thing I've noticed is that Sun was much more clingy than moon. Sun would mostly stay by my side, and if I left the daycare to do something (like using the restroom) he's so quick to follow! He's always interested in my words and what I say— definitely a great listener.
As for both moon and sun.. I've noticed a few similarities. These two poor boys are stressed! And if that's not bad, they absolutely hated it when kids left messes around the daycare. There's been times where I had to really get into Sun to clean him, as kids were rowdy. I've also noticed both of them can feel.. things. Like pain. Sun mentioned how sore he was another day, and once moon came out he stretched while complaining to be in pain. The past two weeks have been more of me learning how my job works, and learning more about their feelings. These two boys.. never fail to understand how I feel. They're built too well.
And I cant help but grown feelings for them.

It's currently 10 pm. I was getting ready for work, when I've noticed how tired I was. I was feeling dizzy and hot. More hot than usual. Thankfully, the damn daycare has good ass ac . So I should be much cooler there. Putting on a tank top, and a white work shirt over I finally grabbed my stuff. On my first day I forgot my bag, but now I'm trying to make sure I bring it with me 24/7 while I'm there. I even pack extra clothes, just in case Sun and moon are open for a sleepover. Remember how I said workers were welcome to stay there for the job? Yea, I've been taking that quite too literally.
Sometimes I shower during my shift, and no you freaks. Sun does not follow me in there. He simply guides me there and waits outside.
. . .
I finally made it in. The daycare. I still didn't feel well, and decided to just go through the door. But this time, it didn't budge open. So I knocked, thinking Sun would let me in. I heard a loud gasp inside, but my mind was too fuzzy to comprehend anything at the moment. I feel weak. The door opened to reveal the one and only Sun. "SUNSHINE!! IM SO HAPPY TO SEE YOU!" He didn't hesitate to bring me in with a hug. I slowly hugged him back, still bothered by the pain in me. Sun then suddenly let go and stared at me. "Sun?"
"Sunflower? Are you sick?"
I shrugged and slowly walked to the desk, looking at the papers and the computer. "You should not be working at all if you feel this bad!!" "Sun I'm fine." I couldn't really say anything, I was just.. out of place. My body felt weird. Like it was failing me. I sighed heavily. Suddenly stopping and holding my hands to my chest. Sun was quiet. Too quiet. "Sunny?"
"You are not working in this condition."
Woah! He sounded serious— almost sounded like moon for a second. I was gonna continue working until Sun picked me up and practically forced me to rest in his room. "Alright sunflower! I'll be rightttt backkkk! Please stay here!!" Did Sun seriously just dropped me off here? Well.. I'm not gonna fight it. I'm too weak to do that shit right now. I sat up on the bed he placed me at, and took off my work shirt. The tank top came in handy, knew it. After that I adjusted myself and I've gotten comfy in the star themed blanket that was next too me.
Covering myself and trying to get comfort, I awaited suns arrival. God, I feel weird. "Sunflower? I'm back, here.." sun came back with some medicine. "Gross. Sunnn I'm fineee I don't like medicine." Sun hesitated then proceeded to try to put it in my mouth. "Y/n! You need this to feel better!" "Nope, it looks nasty and I'm good from trying to take something if it looks like that." Sun looked down at the medicine then at y/n. He slowly made his way to a specific part of the room.
"Sunny?"
. . . The lights went out. I could hear a few noises and the sound of rebooting.
"Naughty naughty~ children like you are to be punished~" moons laughter filled the room.
"Yea thanks a lot Sun and moon, I'm soooo scared." I wasn't putting up with moons teasing. "Watching you through suns eyes irritated the fuck out of me. Now come on, don't act like a child."
"Moon the medicine is literally shitty." I scoffed and held my head. He could tell I was in pain, who wouldn't? But today, he was more gentle when he handled me. He softly gave me the medicine, and even praised me for it! Two for one deal—
"Come on stardust.. let's nap for the time being."
"What about sun?"
"He's here too— he wanted this. I did too." He muttered the last part, but I heard it loud and clear. Thank god they can't get sick! At least I'll have a friend with me while feeling shitty. "Thank you for listening, now you get your reward. You get to sleep with moon." Why did he have to say it that way? I felt my cheeks blush from those words.
"Just please, be gentle." Well, if he wants to play it that way.. then so be it. But, I'm sure it's a friend thing. To sleep with friends. To play with their hair, to sing or dance and play games with them— to enjoy their stories. God, what is this sickness doing to me? Moon slowly adjusted to the bed and held me close. I wonder if the kids felt this comfort too? Being in moons arms.. it felt like a dream. There was silence for a moment. But only for a moment. Moon started to talk once again.
"I miss the children."
"Why don't you go.."
"I can't. I've hurt them."
.
.
.
"I'm sure it was an accident."
"How do you know for sure, stardust?"
"Because you haven't hurt me that badly."
"The first day.."
"We were just playing. Calm your little moons down."
.
.
"I'm so glad to spend time with you. It was lonely when you weren't here. Now everyday I look forward to seeing you."
He admitted something? I could tell he was nervous to say this.. I have to be firm with my next actions and wording now. It's hard for moon to open up about his feelings.
"I'm always happy when I'm with you moon. To be fair.. I've always been left alone. I know the feeling. Everyday, I look forward to seeing the both of you."
.
.
.
.
"Moon?"
"Sleep now, I've kept you up long enough."
.
.
"Thank you moon, I appreciate it."
"As a thank you, let's just rest together.. today was rough for both me and sun. I'm glad to spend the night with you.."
.
.
That day.. that faithful day was the day that our heartstrings were connected. I don't remember exactly when I started to feel these things toward them.. but I knew how I felt on that day.
