Chapter 11

Y/ns pov

I actually lied. Before I started my day as a daycare attendant I bumped into Dave (again). Apparently he took it upon himself to get us breakfast. Thanks dude! "So I was thinking y/n, how would you feel about meeting my daughter? She's in your age group so I think you two would get along pretty well." He started out. I swallowed my food and took a sip of my coffee (or tea , or water.). "I'm not too sure boss, I haven't really talked to anyone like that in a while so.." Dave sighed and had this look on his face. He was in a debate in his mind. "Well.. you did say you didn't have many friends."

"I know. That's just me haha." I'm gonna be honest, I did have a few online friends. We talk here and there, but it's hard to talk to them when you're busy with your job. "Well.. kid, at least think on it. Not forcing you!— I already kinda told my daughter about it and hahah—" I looked at him and gave a look of 'really?' On my face.

"Well.. uh- hey is it already that late in the morning? Time to get to work!" I checked my time and cursed at myself. Shit, he's right! "Oh shit fr? Alright Dave I'll see you later!" We exchanged our goodbyes and I made my way to the daycare. Shit, Sun must have been expecting me all this time. I was going to take the other entrance, but.. I wanted to use the slide again.

As I slide down to fun, I realized something.. this is a fucking daycare. Kids are gonna be everywhere. Kids are gonna be kids. Fuck. I'm not that great with kids. I'll have to watch what I say too. After literally drowning in the ball pit, I could hear sun hurry over. "OH LITTLE ONE! ITS NICE TO SEE YOU— oh! If it isn't our newest recruit!" Sun picked me up and hugged me. "Aghhh Sun, you scared me for a moment." Of course I exchanged a brief hug and he settled me onto the ground. "Oh! Little ones, please don't make such a big mess— oh dear!" Sun hesitates, looking back at me and the mess. "One moment!" He hurried over and started cleaning up.

"Ah, sorry, we can't have someone potentially slipping on a small water puddle!" Sun had his usual smile on, he seemed to be more .. I guess you can say parental. "Hey Sunny, are these all the children?" "Almost! A few should be coming in soon, and after you have to take attendance! Then we can play all day and have LOADS of fun!" He said all of this while practically screaming into my ears. I don't wanna bother telling him to lower his voice, so I just nodded and went back to the desk in front. I didn't pay attention much to the kids, as Sunny was already taking care of them.

I checked my bag, everything was in it. I checked my phone, good. Good. Nothing too rash. Oh, that's right! I checked my FazWatch for my tasks during the day.

Sighing heavily, I decided to start early on the paperwork. I already see it on the desk, and I internally screamed. My arms were kinda wobbly so I was pretty tired. But, it's work and I can't argue with it. Most of the paperwork were complaints of the parents having a single animatronic be a daycare attendant— moon still scaring the children— kids having to sleep with the light on thanks to moon— parents wondering why there isn't an actual human being working inside— shit like that.

"Wow.. some of these parents are really concern of the children being around moon." I muttered to myself. I kinda felt bad, moon wasn't necessary too bad with me. He was just kinda rough at times- or a blatant asshole. But, he loves the children. It's his job to take care of them anyways. I started getting the paperwork's done. There were also a few paperwork's of what to add to suns and moons programming, what to alternate Sun and moons personality. However.. one specific paperwork caught my eye.

I looked back at sun, and then at the paperwork. It was a complaint from one of the parents. I read it slowly, and carefully. Only in my head, as to not disturb suns peace with the children.

'Dearest Fazbear workers,

I am the mother of *childs name* , Miranda Hooves. I am sending this complaint because my child shouldn't be influenced by the Sun and moon robot thing. It's either you replace it, or decommission it. It's disgusting, it's actions are too. The looks of it is creepy, and im tired of hearing my child say "oh I miss Sun! Mommy im scared of moon" ...

Won't you guys at least replace it? Or get fucking rid of it whole. Ignore this and I'll find my child a new daycare to go into.

I rolled my eyes. I looked around to make sure no one was looking, and crumbled the paper up. I mentally swore at the women in my head. I knew Sun and moon would be upset if they saw this. And I'm not fucking replying to her. I guess she's reasonable, since in her eyes .. Sun and moon aren't people. But, they're my friend. I kinda relate to the shot they deal with.

So fuck that mom. Now, keep in mind I only read part of it. Why? Because the rest is full of insults towards moon and sun! I don't have time for that. Throwing the paper out, I start going over to another one.

Suns POV

"OH FRIEND! This is so nice, I love your art! You're so good at it!" I love playing with the children, and seeing how creative they can get in their art. I was taking care of them, as suddenly I noticed y/n throwing a paper ball away, it was crumbled up..

'Sunny..'

"I know moon.. curious too." Sun responded to the moon face in his head. He took a note mentally to look into that small trash can. He then shook his head, and started to play with the children once more.

Y/ns pov

I feel myself getting tired from all the paperwork. Before I could do anything, I feel a tap on my shoulder. "Sunshine! Attendance!" Sun giggled to himself and started to count the children. I picked up the clipboard," Children! Kiddos! Please gather over here! I need to take attendance." It was like I was a teacher, the kids ran over here. "Oh! That's much easier, nice sunshine!" Sun complimented. I ignored the rising heat on my face and shook it off. "Alright children! Looks like everyone is here today! Now, can you all introduce yourself to our newest daycare attendant, y/n?! THEYRE the absolute best at helping, and they love doing art too!"

The children actually took interest in me. I was honestly surprised since I'm not the type to look .. cool to kids. They all greeted me and then went back to playing. "How cute.. aww.." I smiled, they were just kids after all.

Well.. guess the day is starting.
