"It's amazing how you turned up suddenly." Dave pointed at a jar of candy. "Have some if you'd like." He says. "Oh I'm so happy my child is back! Daveee won't you be a dear and-" Dave huffed out a large gap of air . He looked at my mother with frustration, "I won't get mad at y/n, miss mom. But, I need to have a talk with them. Please leave the room, and I'm sure you have business to attend too." Dave's slight aggressive response surprised my mom. But she didn't force anything, she instead left the room.
"Jeez.. y/n, you're not in any trouble. Right?" He asked. I shook my head, "No sir." I stated. He then pointed out the obvious, "Are you sure you don't need a break? You've been gone for a while." I shook my head. "I think I need this job. As a distraction.. I'll be fine. Please." My desperation seemed to have hinted something to him. He nodded, "Ah, before you leave.. I found this on the floor." He pulled out a phone. "Oh shit! My phone! It's been.. missing. It isn't broken right?"
"Nope, perfectly new."
He handed me my phone. Thanking him, my eyes caught a glimpse of Dave's arm. He .. seemed to be injured. Raising a brow, but deciding not to say anything, I left. Waving goodbye and stepping back into the daycare, I spotted Moon and Sun speaking to the children. "Gee.. I didn't think kids were that gullible." I heard Sun mutter under his breath. I raise a brow. He always took care of kids.. what's the meaning of this? "Hey guys, something's up?" I asked.
Looking down at the children, they seemed to have mixed reactions. Some seemed afraid, while others were confused. Reading this specific age group in kids tend to be easy. Therefore, I'm gonna admit it. I am concerned. "Oh gosh! Y/n! We were just going over our little schedule, haha! Making sure the kids know not to mess around. You all understand, don't you?" Suns never ending smile appeared before us all. The kids said yes, nodding.
"Oh? Sunny, why don't we let them play for today. I can tell they have lots of energy they wanna spend. Then, we can head on over for nap time." I waved to moon who smiled softly. "That's.. what we agreed on too! Oh I'm so happy to spend time with the children!" Sun cheers, his rays spinning around. Moon chuckled and made his way over to me. "It's kinda weird .. seeing you in the light." I whispered. Moon only shrugged.
"But .. at least I get to see your face once more, dear." I blush heavily, as he said this in only a whisper. Suns eyes locked towards mine. For a moment, I thought I felt rage coming from him. However, his mouth was shut. He didn't say anything, rather he helped the children into their feet and shoo them off to play. Something.. felt oddly off. I looked between moon and sun.
No, something is off.
MOON AND SUNS TURN FOR POV !
Although in 3rd person.
Lol.
Moon was on his knees, panting, he hissed in pain. "Brother.." sun whimpered. "SH.. SHUT UP SUN.." he let out another Tsk. Soon enough, his whole body was trembling. He felt pain. Pain where if lunar took another step, he'd feel the shock reach his body. Every time this happened, moon would end up in this terrible, weak state. Sun, on the other hand, couldn't feel any pain. All he felt was guilt, and sadness for the other.
He knew Moon didn't mean to go off on him like this. He knows moon is just stressed out, which is why he sat next to him. "I'm so sorry moon.." he cried out. Which was all he could do— they were trapped. Trapped in this hellish mind scape. The only thing they could've done was watch the screen. The screen which displayed lunar or eclipse fooling Y/n into believing it's them.
