Chapter 62

The lights flicked on and off. For a moment, I really believed that I would be gone. Gone.. as in probably suffering a concussion and a few broken bones. However, I felt myself being fallen into a pair of arms.

Opening my eyes and being glistened by light, blinking, I focused on what appeared to be ..

"Eclipse?-" my heart was racing. "My little universe! Hold on sweet thing, let's calm down before we get all lovey here." Eclipse held me close to his chest. He rubbed my back, massaging it until my heart rate was normal again. "It appears that Vanny was hiding something very well within our reach. I found out that the replacements of Sun and moon were to kidnap the children. They'd lead them to Vanny.. hm, but since me and lunar were able to hack into them, we've successfully changed— wait a minute."

Lunar looked up at the ceiling where moon slowly went down, and onto the play structure. From what I can describe, he looked feral. "Lunar, get that animatronic. It's creeping y/n out." Eclipse faced me away from the other. Based on the sounds, I could make out a system of rebooting and changes. "I'm so sorry y/n! I forgot to destroy the little virus in moons body! I was so focused on you that I wasn't able to do that, I'm so sorry." The familiar tone was lunars. Getting off of eclipses grip, I faced and walked toward lunar.

He looked nervous and had a trail of guilt in him.

"Please don't let it happen again.. but thank you for freeing me." I hugged Lunar. Lunar gasped and hugged me straight away. "Lunar. Do not make the same mistake again. Y/n could've been seriously hurt." Eclipses voice glitched out a bit, however he kept the peace by patting lunars shoulder. "I'm sorry! I won't make the mistake again!" He exclaimed. "Now, as for you y/n.. I believe gregory and the others are here. They tried to search for you in the day, but never at night. Tonight is the night they will search. Are you ready to go home?" Eclipse asked.

"I wanna sleep with y/n again!"

"No."

I dropped to my knees. Home? You expect me to call that place home? I just moved into another house my parents owned. I left my own apartment. The one I worked hard for. The one I felt independent in. Nothing has been the same. It hadn't been the same every since I got that fucking job. There's too much shit happening to me. When do I get to enjoy a break?

I was missing. I almost got my body taken over, more than once. I had to see my ex girlfriend in the most unfortunate way possible. I almost died several times. What else?

What else is there for me in this pathetic life? Do I even want to continue? Cant I just stop here?

"Y/n? Dear.. brother I think they're panicking."

"Lunar, step aside. Hey, y/n.. I know it's hard but-"

Eclipse reached out to me but I smacked his hand away. Pulling away, he seemed shocked. "I never wanted to live this life. Why did I have to go through this. I never wanted this. And now that I have it, what do I even do with it?" I let the despair fill my body. Not even tears can cure this dreadful moment. I cant even cry.

Why should I cry? It's not gonna solve any of my problems.

"I wanna sleep. I'm tired. I'm tired of all this." I muttered, holding my legs close to my chest. There was silence in the room. Before I knew it, lunar and eclipse joined me. I knew what they were thinking. But.. I was too caught up in the moment to even care. I let myself feel what I thought was reasonable. I breathed in and out. I felt my heart beat. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. The lights flickered and I felt as if the presence of the two were gone. Lifting my head up, I scanned the room.
