Bye, My First

Being in the mart with Jaehyun, eyes were following them. Jungwoo kinda know why because the guy who is walking besides him is shining. Time to time, their hands would touch and Jungwoo would just back away. He cannot handle the butterflies in his stomach. After their little cute moment in the mart, they went straight to Jaehyun's room without saying anything. When Jaehyun opened the door, the room was dark.
"Did they not come? It's getting late too." As soon as Jungwoo entered, Doyoung holding a cake in his hands came out with Taeyong who has presents in his hands.
"Ahh....hyung, you don't need to do this."
Jungwoo was getting emotional. "Come on, blow the candle." The light came on. Jaehyun was at the side watching everyone with a smile on his face but it was a sad smile. Yuta who kept an eye on Jaehyun all the time, saw Jaehyun and walked to him. "Tonight's your chance. I have told Doyoung about it and we'll give you time. Get things right."

As the night deepen, they got drunk. Jaemin who doesn't like to drink settled himself with low alcohol beverage. Mark and Haechan were not together. Haechan is with Jeno and Renjun while Mark was with Taeyong. Renjun saw the atmosphere between Mark and Haechan. "Did anything happen with Mark?" Haechan just smiled and said that it was nothing but Renjun smelled something fishy. "Go and talk to him." Renjun pushed Haechan to Mark.
The atmosphere suddenly darkened when Haechan came closer Mark. The older gave Haechan a glare. Haechan didn't know why Mark treat him that way and this time, it was Haechan who grabbed Mark's hand and dragged him outside. Taeyong felt relieved that Haechan took Mark outside otherwise the atmosphere would feel really heavy.

Outside the dorm and near a bushy tree with lights decorated on it, Haechan let go of Mark's hand. "Hyung, if you don't say it, how can I not when something is bothering you? This is not how I imagined it. We promised to share whatever's on our mind with each other." Mark just swayed his head and said that it was nothing.
"You heard something from my classmates, didn't you?" When Mark looked up Haechan knew that it must be the girl that kept bugging him. "Why didn't you say anything when she is trying to flirt with you?"
With the tone that Mark is using, Haechan couldn't help but find the older cute. He just smiled and hugged Mark. "Hyung, I'm never gonna step away from the decision I made. You don't know how much I love you." Mark hugged back. That was misunderstanding from Mark's side but he was glad that Haechan cleared it up.
"Well then, let's go inside. They might be wondering where we are." With that being said, Mark held Haechan's hand and intertwined their fingers. Haechan always like it when Mark does that. It gives him butterflies.

Inside, everyone was so awake. No one looked like they were drunk. Everyone got up. "Hey, Mark!! Where were you?"
Yuta swung his arms around Mark's shoulder. Haechan let go of Mark's hand and walked to Renjun, Jeno and Jaemin.
"Did you make up with him?" Renjun was the first to ask. He seemed to be very concerned when the atmosphere felt heavy between them. Haechan just nodded his head and looked at Jeno. "If you don't take good care of my friend here, I'm gonna kill you." Haechan's threat didn't even feel like a threat. Jeno just looked at him and lifted his eyebrows.

Taeyong got drunk on his second glass. The others present were heavy drinker except for Jaemin who doesn't like to drink. Haechan decided to call it quit when he felt a bit tipsy because he knows what he'll do if he gets drunk. He didn't want to face the embarassment later on.
"It's getting late. Let's sleep." Doyoung wanted to wrap up the party. Some crash on the couch and some got bedsheets from Jaehyun and made it their bed to get through the night. And, of course, the couples were together. Yuta and Jaemin got together and crashed on the floor.
Now, guess who's standing. Doyoung winked at Yuta. Maybe they did something.
"Jaehyun and Jungwoo can take the bed then. It's big enough for two people." Taeyong said without a clue about the plan between Yuta and Doyoung. But what he said is true. "I'll just stay here with you. Jaehyun hyung can sleep on his bed peacefully." Jungwoo was nervous. Why not? He's gonna be in the same bed as his crush. Who wouldn't be?

Ultimately, they came inside Jaehyun's room. It was neat with an all black concept. Everything except the desk there were black. It added even more charm to it. "Are you okay sharing the bed with me?" Jaehyun was also nervous and he felt uneasy because what if he made Jungwoo feel uncomfortable?
"I can sleep on the floor, hyung. You can take the bed." With that being said, Jungwoo insisted sleeping on the floor. Jaehyun took out a mattress for Jungwoo and made the bed for him while he was in the bathroom.
Both of them were not drunk. Jaehyun us a heavy drinker but he didn't drink much.
Jungwoo came out and laid down. Jaehyun was already on his bed with his phone. For some reason, Jaehyun kept the door open. He wouldn't want to wake up to those couples making out.
The clock struck 12 but both of them cannot sleep. Their eyes were close but they were not asleep. Jaehyun took one look at Jungwoo and mustering all his courage,he decided to strike a conversation.
"Jungwoo, are you asleep?"
The younger replied with a no.
"You know, Doyoung hyung is gonna miss you. Do visit him when you get holidays."
Jungwoo smiled, "Of course, I'll. I'm not gonna stay there forever."

Will you not miss me? I guess not. But I will miss you, Jaehyun hyung. I'm glad I could have a moment with you like this.

"Is everything set for you there?"
"Yeah, my mom did everything for me."

There was silence but it was Jaehyun again that spoke first. "Can I ask you something personal?"

Jungwoo, "Yes anything, hyung."

"Do you have anyone that you like?" Jaehyun finally said it. He has been wanting to ask. Jungwoo was startled as he didn't expect that question from Jaehyun and also it was too straight forward. Jungwoo thought that it is useless to lie. He's not gonna confess there. He's been doing a good job hiding it.
"I do have someone."

"Do I know that someone?"

Jungwoo remained silent. How can he say that Jaehyun knows who he is when he is the one that Jungwoo likes?

"Hyung definitely know him."

This time, Jaehyun didn't say anything. He just looked at Jungwoo and smiled to himself.
"Well then, he's a lucky guy."

I should have at least tried to let him know how I feel. What am I doing? I'm just here being helpless as I can be. This time too, I am letting him go and I don't know if he'll ever return back to Korea.
