Bye, My First

Neither Jaehyun or Jungwoo knew about what Taeyong and Doyoung planned. Both of them just arrived at the same place. Jungwoo arrived a bit later than Jaehyun.
"Hyung, why are you so late? I thought you'd be.....---"
Jaehyun couldn't believe his eyes.
Am I seeing things? Am I missing Jungwoo too much that I'm starting to have hallucinations?

Both of them just stared at each other for a long time until Jungwoo took his seat at another table near Jaehyun.
"Doyoung hyung is also coming soon."
Jaehyun felt that his stare must have made Jungwoo uncomfortable, so they both just took their phones out and sat in silence.
They cannot grasp the situation. They are both shocked to see each other. Jaehyun was shocked because he didn't expect Jungwoo there and so was Jungwoo.

This hyung told me that he's here and he still haven't arrived. This is too awkward for me. Why is he here?

The 'he' Jungwoo referred to is Jaehyun. He came to meet Doyoung but he's in the cafe with Jaehyun. His determination to confess is slowly fading because he's so weak when it comes to things related to Jaehyun.

Hours went by, both Taeyong and Doyoung didn't come. Jaehyun got up from his seat, turned to Jungwoo. "Looks like they are not coming. How about we head home?"

Who is the 'we' in his talk? Kim Jungwoo, stop being a dumbass. It's obviously me.

Nevertheless, Jungwoo got up and followed Jaehyun. "Do you want me to drop you off?"
Jaehyun walked upto his car. He's all changed. But he's still the same Jaehyun that Jungwoo know. Still the sweet and caring guy who everyone likes.
"Um.... Actually, I --"
Jungwoo was stuttering. He told his mom that he'll be back late because he's catching up with Doyoung.
"I told my mom that I'm coming back late. If you can, drop me off at Taeyong's place."

Jaehyun hesitated but he drove to Taeyong's place. No one was inside. There was a note on the fridge.

"Sorry had to ditch you guys. We're going on a date. I knew you would drop by here. Make yourself at home and spend some quality time. Talk to each other."

"So, this was all planned out by them?" Jaehyun turned to Jungwoo and saw him fidgeting with his fingers. Both of them didn't know what to do. They sat down in front of the tv but didn't even turn it on. Jaehyun got up and the first thing that came out was a kiss scene. Typical K-drama moment there. Lucky enough Jungwoo didn't see it. Had he saw it, he would be so awkward with Jaehyun. The latter thought it as a relief. He changed the channel before he got up and head to kitchen to make something. He opened the fridge only to see beers and vodka with a bottle of water.
"Are they trying to get us drunk?"

Jaehyun walked up to Jungwoo. "Um, there's nothing in the fridge. I was thinking of making something. So, I'm going out to buy some stuffs. You can stay here."
Jaehyun started walking ahead, Jungwoo called out to him, "um, would it be alright if I join?"

Alright? It would be a total yes from my side.

Jaehyun was getting butterflies inside but he still kept his cool outside. Soon, they reached the mart. Got off the car and walked inside. It was the same mart both of them came to last time. Remember the Jungwoo farewell party.
"Remember, this is the same mart we came together last time. Nothing's changed here."
Jaehyun just blurted out leaving Jungwoo in shock.

He still remember it? Wow!!!

They got what they need and both of them came to the car. Jaehyun had to rush inside to get something. He soon came out and the ride to Taeyong's place was silent. It's still the same silence but the comfortable and no need to talk because they both feel comfortable being like that. Just the presence of each other is good enough for them. Jungwoo would steal glances at Jaehyun and the older would never notice it. Thank God, Jungwoo thought.

Jaehyun was busy making lunch aka dinner for the two of them.
"Um, do we wait for them or should we just eat and I'll head home?"

Jungwoo was not in any kind of rush but he just wanted to escaped because the butterflies are going out of control. But Jaehyun had a better idea.
"How about we stay here and wait for them in the dark? They'll be back, I guess."
It did not seem like a bad idea to Jungwoo, so he agreed to turn off all the lights. They washed the dishes and cleaned the kitchen and kept it clean. Jungwoo being the clean freak he is made sure to get every nook and corner neat and tidy.

After their work, Jungwoo sat down on the couch and Jaehyun went to Taeyong's room to get something. Jungwoo was just curious about what was on the tv and he was scrolling through the channel. Nothing amuses him. Jaehyun came out from his room as he recieved a text from Taeyong that they'll be returning home. Jaehyun told Jungwoo about it and asked him to turn off all the lights and make sure that they catch them tonight. Sometimes these kind of silly thoughts comes from Jaehyun but no one will expect it.
After a good 10 minutes of waiting, the door opened revealing a Taeyong and Doyoung exhausted from their date. One went to the bathroom while Doyoung turned on all the lights with Jaehyun and Jungwoo sitting there looking like a mannequin.
"Yah!! You scared me!" Doyoung was startled for real. Both Jaehyun and Jungwoo burst out laughing seeing Doyoung's shock face.
"Btw, what did you guys do here? Ahh! Don't tell me that you guys....?"
Doyoung was being dramatic and teasing both of them. Jungwoo got up and defend himself. "We just cooked and ate. That's all!"
He was trying really hard to defend himself but Doyoung just find it too funny and cute.
"And you, Jeong Jaehyun, when do you plan on confessing? I know you must be having all those butterflies in your stomach dancing at their own will? The person you like is in front of you and yet you are still a coward."
Taeyong rushed out of the bathroom and dragged Doyoung away from the living room and into his room. "Why did you do that? They could have solved it themselves. You made it worse and not to mention the atmosphere between them."
Doyoung assured his boyfriend that it'll fine and he just needs to wait to see his magic. They peeked out from their door and it's all the same. Jaehyun sat there and Jungwoo just standing there frozen.

It was awkward not gonna lie, the atmosphere between them suddenly got heated up because of Doyoung but Jaehyun was glad that he said it.
"Ummm.... Can I explain?" Jaehyun broke the silence.

Um.... Maybe the next chapter is gonna be the last. It maybe longer than any other but I hope you enjoy it till the end.
I planned to update earlier and I haven't visited this app in a while.

Not gonna lie, I saw a comment and it suddenly boost my energy and there it is the finished product.
