I've been at pony boys house for about six hours having fun. right now I'm laying on the couch with my legs in Steves lap. Sodapop is right next to us, on the floor is two bit watching mickey mouse and next to him is Ponyboy reading a book. I love reading so me and him bonded really well over that. Johnny was in the arm chair also watching Mickey Mouse.
I hear the sound of a door opening and shutting so I looked up and see Dallas standing there looking at me. so I looked back. damn can this boy hold eye contact cause I swear we've been staring at each-other for like 20 minutes but in reality was 10 seconds.
his eyes are like a pool of honey. I could get lost in them so easily, his eyes also told a story right now he was glaring at me but then he slowly softened his gaze and looked away.
weird but I still found my self feeling flustered from his actions. I snap out of my daze when I feel a warm hand sliding up and down my legs. I looked up to see Steve.
"Rory. you okay? you kinda zoned out for a second." Steve says worryingly.
"oh yeah i'm okay, just thinking" I responded.
"you guys wanna go catch a movie at the nightly double?" Dallas questions us snapping me out of my thoughts.
"yea, me and Johnny will go" Ponyboy said to dally.
"i'm planing on getting boozed up tonight but if I don't ill stop by" two bit said.
"me and Steve gotta catch up with Evie and Sandy tonight" sodapop says.
"Rory, you gonna come" Ponyboy asks me.
I think for a moment. oh why not.
"yeah ponytail just for you" I joke with him.
"well let's go then" dally said trying to get us to leave.
pony, johnny,dally, and I all walk out the door and start walking. pony and Johnny were ahed of us engaged in a conversation so that left me and Dallas side by side behind them.
"so aurora" he begins before I cut him off
"Rory" I cut him off
"Rory. how come I never seen you around before, you new?" he asks
"Nah, i'm not new. I guess I just blend in ya dig." I say back
"I know." he says.
"so tell me about you rora" he says.
"there's really not much to tell but i'm 17, favorite color is sage green. I like causing trouble and I've never lost a fight."
"I am not surprised" he says looking me up and down.
"call me dally. Dallas is too formal" he says. I just nod.
"dally." I say grabbing his attention.
"what" he says back
"can you carry me please" I say giving him my puppy dog eyes
"not a chance" he says.
"pleaseeee" I say dragging out the word and pouting like a little kid.
"fine" he says annoyed. he bent down to my level so I could jump on his back. I jumped up and wrapped my legs around his torso.
I rested my chin on his head and put my hands on his face. then I decided to play with his hair. I run my fingers through his soft brown hair my nails scratching his head ever so lightly.
"hmmm. that feels good" he says. I just keep playing with it, it was so soft. I liked that he didn't put grease in his hair like everyone else.
as we approached the hole to crawl under to enter the theater dally stops so I can jump down. he then crawls under the fence I follow right after him. I get up and dust myself off waiting for ponytail and Johnny to be done going under. once their done we walk into the parking lot to see a rich girl fighting with her asshole boyfriend.
I mind my business and keep walking. until I reach a small fence. gracefully I jump over it landing swiftly on my feet. I wait for them to hop over once they do we go looking for seats.
we found some. Dally was on the outside I was right next to him. on the other side of me was Ponyboy and next to him was Johnny. everything was okay until these two girls sat in-front of us.
"are you sure about this cherry cause I don't know" the girl with chocolate brown hair said
"yes. I came here to see a movie so i'm gonna see a movie" they red head fired back.
"some fiery red head eh?" daly says to us.
"she sounds mad" I say back. he nods in response. after that he starts messing with her but I just zone out watching the movie until I hear yelling.
"GET LOST HOOD" the girl screaming at dally.
"sorry I didn't know you had this problem with yelling in my face" he says before getting up and going who knows where. he comes back with drinks and hands it to the two girls. the red headed girl did the unthinkable.
she dumped the fucking drink on him. after that he was being aggressive towards her so Johnny speaks up and tells him to lay off. he did not like that so he got up and left.
imma need a minute to comprehend wtf just happened. I decide to speak up.
"cherry was it" I say while flashing a fake smile grabbing her attention.
"yes it is" she says back putting on her bitch face.
"you didn't have to do that. it was a little dramatic." I say
"yes I did! he is a no good hood." she says making me mad. these fucking soc's thinking their better than everyone.
"go fuck yourself" I say before leaving causing everyones eyes to widen in shock.
as I left the drive in I started walking to my house. as i'm walking I hear someone cursing under their breath.
"fucking broad". i recognize that voice. it was dally. I walked up to him.
"hey D, you okay" I say.
"yeah rora just a little sticky." he replies.
"well i'm heading home see ya tomorrow?" I question
"see ya tomorrow" he says.
I stand on my tiptoes and give him a kiss on the cheek. he goes back the way he was walking and when i'm sure he's not looking I vamp speed home.
the second I get home I grab my phone and look for my best friends number.
"come on pick up" I say mumbling to myself.
"hello love" the voice on the other line says and I smile in excitement.
"hey Nik!" I respond cheerfully.
I could not wait to tell him about what just happened. I swear he's like 1000+ years old and he loves hearing about drama. like shouldn't you be eating people?
