Tobi swings her bag over her shoulder as the lunch bell rings, Lilly and Angie following.

"Did you guys understand a word of that?" Tobi asks yawning. They shook their heads laughing. They turned the corner and headed to their spot outside the hall. Daisy and Lexi were already seated, eating their lunch. They sat down and pulled out their lunches,.

"So how's Michael?" Daisy bugs her.

"Ugh," Tobi groans, "I don't like him, he doesn't like me."

"In some alternate universe you two are totally dating," Daisy chirps.

"Alternate universes don't exist," Lexi counters.

"Well, actually scientist has theorised that an alternate universe could exist for every probable possibility," Tobi interjects.

"Ha!" Daisy gloats to Lexi.

"You have no idea what I just said, do you?" asked Tobi.

"Well, no," Daisy sighs.

Tobi pulls out her phone, looking for any teachers.

"Someone is being rebellious," Lilly teases

"Shut up," Tobi rolls her eyes, she is a bit of a goody two shoes.

"What have do we next?" Angie asks.

"Ugh sport" Lilly moans after pulling out her timetable.

Sport, the epitome of their entire lives. They mumble and groan for the whole of lunch. When the bell of impending physical activity and embarrassment sounds they pull their bags over their shoulders and head to the gym.

"Rightio kiddos," says their ageing PE teacher. "We are gonna start off with a game of softball, then we'll take two, no, three laps around the oval," he smiles showing of his yellowed teeth.

The group splits up as the teacher handed out braids for the best possible chance of being on the same team. They all end up on the green team, batting first. Angie steps up first.

"Go Angelica!" The girls chorus. Angie shoots them a furious look, only shown when talking about her name. She takes a swing and sends it a fair way down the field, running base to base. All of the girls get similar result, well until Tobi came to bat. She swings and sends the ball right into Michael's out stretched hand. She throws the bat down in a mock tantrum.

"Good try," Michael whispered as he passed her to swap positions.

She meets the girls near the back of the field, Daisy snickering under her breath.

"Ok, on three," The teacher shouts.

"One, Two, Three!" Everyone bolts off with Tobi, Daisy, Lilly, Angie and Lexi trailing behind. On their third lap, all exhausted, Tobi tripped on the root of a tree.

"Ah Shhhine a light," Tobi almost swears.

"Come on," Daisy groans.

"Wait I've lost my ring," Tobi muttered combing her fingers through the grass and leaves. "Never mind," she sighs picking up her silver signet ring. "Wait what's this," she picked up a faded gold pendant with an ice blue crystal embedded in it.

"Cool," says Lexi, drawn to the crystal. They hear a rumbling noise and the trees began to shake.

Little do they know, they are about to fall into a whole lot of trouble.
