She's Finally Back (Eddie Munson x reader)

Y/n's POV

"I came back to warn you of what's to come." I said staring at the boys.

They looked both confused and terrified. I hate making them feel this way but they have to know.

I take a deep breath and look at them again.

"I've seen some things...I'm sure all of you know that by now."

They all nod and continue listening closely to what I have to say.

"I've fought for my life everyday for the past 2 years. I fought many different creatures. Including once you probably haven't fought when you all kept coming back down there." I explain.

This makes them all shoot up, throwing questions left and right at me.

Dusty shouts, "YOU KNEW WHEN WE WERE DOWN THERE?"

Before I answer Mike speaks up, "Why didn't you ever come see us?" He seemed upset with me.

"Listen boys-" Lucas cuts me off.

"You could've come out from below years ago yet you just didn't want to?!" Now they were all seemingly angry.

"Sit." I demand with a serious face.

Without any objections they sit, there heads stay down as to not make accidental eye contact.

"I knew you guys were there, but I vould never get to you. I couldn't get out because I was never strong enough. You all closed the gates and I thought that was the end for me. Luckily I found an open gate but that's exactly why I need to warn everyone before it opens enough for something else to get through." I state with seriousness and concern.

They stare at me now, shocked and scared. Looking at each other, they all nod and look back at me.

"Alright, we need an official meeting. I'll set one up starting tomorrow ok?" Dustin says, but Mike shakes his head.

"I'm going to California tomorrow."

Before Dustin can protest I put my hand on Mike's shoulder and say it's ok. The less people here to get hurt is better.

Lucas stands and stretches, "Well I was updated on almost everything when you called this morning so imma go get ready for the game. See ya guys."

With that he steps out of the house. I could tell Dusty and Mike were annoyed, but before either could say anything I ruffled their hair and smiled.

"Let's go to your DnD club yeah? I'm sure it's almost time. I'll drive you guys."

With that, we picked up and left back towards the school. God...I wasn't even able to attend the school yet after all these years.

[Skip to school]

Eddie's POV

It was perfect. The set up, the story, everything was just how I wanted it.

I thought for a second, hopefully those bone heads found a replacement for the traitor.

The door swings open revealing some of the guys.

"Ahh welcome my fateful foes." I take a bow, illuminating the dramatics.

A few minutes pass and I can already hear Henderson. Once again the door swings open revealing exactly who I thought.

"We're here!" He said out of breath.

Mike continued "And we brought your sub."

Both of them move out of the way revealing mystery girl.

"Uh no." I said trying my best to sound confident, I usually am but when it comes to girls like her...mind is fried.

Dustin looks at me like I'm crazy, "DUDE HOW ARE YOU GONNA TURN THE GREATEST DND PLAYER AWAY?!"

I look at her and she's just standing there smiling. Her confidence was not fake and did not waver. I see now why everyone stood off to the side when she walked in the cafeteria.

"Listen this is a DnD club, not some dress up party..." I laugh a little to signal the guys. They laugh along.

Dustin and Mike look at her. She laughs a little and sighs at me like I have no idea what I'm doing....which I don't but that's not the point.

"I am Stixs, level 20 Ranger. I am a protector of the forest and children, and I'll be damned if any monster tries to get in my way." (Using my fav dnd character I've ever used yayy!!)

Everyone goes quiet. How the hell is she a level 20? That would mean she's pro hunter. I mean...she doesn't even look like she plays DnD!

I turn when I hear Henderson snicker, "I told you, you can't refuse the greatest player of DnD. Who do you think taught me, Mike, Will and Lucas?"

I smile and walk towards her. She puts out her hand before I do. I take it and shake firmly.

"Welcome to Hellfire."
