Nellie sits in front of me as she chews her food, grease coating her lips. I grab a slice of watermelon off the plastic plate & take a bite out of it.

I chuckle as Nellie watched me eat the slice of watermelon quietly.

"Why are you staring?"

"I'm waiting for you to finish ." She responds & I smile. I finish the watermelon & throw the remaining of it in the plastic bag.

"Okay, now open." She demanded & I open my mouth allowing her to shove a piece of Jerk chicken into my mouth.

"Jesus." I coughed a bit before chewing on the amazing chicken.

"Good?" She tilted her head & I gave her thumbs up.

I watch her carefully as she lifted the plastic spoon full of rice & beans to my mouth. I finished chewing before opening my mouth again, taking in the rice & peas.

She watched me as I chewed with a smile, my heart warming at her brown eyes.

"You're cute." I covered my mouth as I spoke & she smiled.

"Stop it you dandruff storm." She giggled & I snort, I cover my mouth stopping myself from spitting out my food from laughing.

"Okay Roz from Monsters inc." I chuckle & she gasps, her eyes widening.

"Are you comparing me to a fish?" She said crossing her arms over her chest.

"She's a fish?" I questioned & she shrug.

"Is she not a fish?" She furrowed her eyebrows & I sigh.

"I don't know, search it up." I grabbed my phone & unlocked it before handing it to her.

She searches it & I think to myself wondering if Roz is a fish or not.

"I think she's a snail." She showed me my phone screen & I chuckle.

She sets my phone aside & stares at me, a smile forming on her lips.

"Come here pretty girl." I grabbed her arm pulling her closer.

"Can I?" I ask softly & she nods. I wrap my arms around her body, shifting her body onto my lap making her straddle me, her legs on either side of me. My hands remain on her waist.

"Let me take you on a date." I whisper.

"Aren't we already on one?" She laughed softly & I smile.

"Are we?" I pecked her lips & she nodded.

"A picnic is a date to me." She shrugged & I smile.

"You don't want to go to a fancy restaurant?" I quirked up an eyebrow & she shook her head.

"Na. I like to have fun on dates. Although, it's free food & it's fancy, I want to have fun."

"What kind of fun?" I smiled wondering if she's just like me.

"Like going bowling, arcade, the museum, the zoo or an aquarium, etc." She spoke smoothly & I stare at her, admiring everything about her.
