2 weeks ahead.

NELLIE

I've been feeling nauseous for the past week & I hate it. I've been lightheaded & feel like throwing up but I never do.

Leo left to go grab a few snacks & pregnancy tests because we both guessed I'm pregnant.

He doesn't use condoms nor does he pull out, & I'm not on birth control nor am I taking the after pills.

I sighed to myself & sat on the bathroom floor, frustrated. I've been having the urge to throw up but it never comes out.

"Mama?!" Leo called out.

"In the bathroom!" I shouted. He opened the bathroom door holding multiple bags in his hands.

"I got 4 different types of pregnancy tests." He flashed me a bright smile, his dimples making my heart melt.

"I also got ice cream, to be specific cookies & cream. I also got vanilla ice cream. I bought candy & other snacks for you so you'd feel better." He spoke rapidly & I smiled.

"Thank you." I whispered & he nodded. He quickly pulled out multiple boxes of pregnancy tests & placed it on the sink.

"I'll be in our room, I don't want to be bother you." He whispered & i began feeling bad, remembering I had yelled at him a few hours prior.

I usually love when he's all over me but this week, I was annoyed for absolute no reason.

"Come here Leo, I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to yell at you." I apologized. I was wrong.

"It's okay baby." He put the bags down & walked over to me. He kneeled on the ground & embraced me into a hug, my body relaxing in his arms.

"Take them, I'll be right back. I'm going to put the ice cream in the freezer." He pulled away & placed a soft kiss on my forehead & another one on my lips.

He stood up & walked out of the bathroom. I slowly stood up from the bathroom floor & headed over to the sink. I gulped & grabbed the pregnancy boxes.

"Let's see." I whispered to myself.

I stood behind Nellie with my arms wrapped around her & my chin rested on her shoulder. We stood in comfortable silence, neither of us saying a single word to each other.

I'm not worried but she is.

The times goes off & she tenses up. I place a soft kiss on her cheek & whispered soft words in her ear.

"It's okay baby, whatever it says I got you." I reassured & she nodded her head.

"Okay." She whispered.

"Ready?"

"Yeah." She bit her lip. She turned around & flipped it over.
