I leaned back in my seat & chuckled, watching my wife & my 2 year old son run around the house with blankets on their backs, pretending to be super heroes.
"Sit your grown ass down somewhere!" I shouted & Nellie rolled her eyes.
"Hush!"
"Sit down Gargamel." I teased & she scoffed.
"You want to beat up an ugly bad guy?" My wife asked my son & he nodded his head.
"Ugly?" I quirked up an eyebrow.
"Papa is the bad guy, go beat him up." She pointed at me & Theo looked between me & his mother.
"B-But that's papa." He whispered & she sighed.
"Yeah but he's the bad guy." She sighed & he played with his fingers, confusion filled in his green eyes.
"You can't turn my son against me." I chuckled & she rolled her eyes.
"Well I'll do it myself then." She shrugged & ran over to me. I stood up from the couch & grabbed her. I picked her up & threw her down on the couch softly, making sure not to hurt her.
"No!" Theo ran over to me & pulled me off his mother.
"Mine." He frowned & I smiled.
"Uh no, mine. I was here before you existed mini gargamel." I tapped his forehead & he shook his head.
He's got Nellie's forehead.
"You're so mean, he's 2 Leo." She said as she attempted to kick me but I caught her foot.
"I fight kids too." I joked & she laughed.
"I think not, we will jump you."
I released her foot & I backed away. I picked up our son & threw his small body over my shoulder.
"Who's team are you on Theo?" I asked tickling him & he giggled.
"Pizza!"
"Great! My son is an idiot just like his mother." I teased & Nellie gasped.
"I know you didn't." She said with wide eyes & I shrugged. She stood up & I softly threw my son on the couch & ran off.
"Let's go beat up dada." I heard her whisper & I smiled.
I turned around & looked at them.
My little family.
They're all I'll ever need. My life is complete.
