We just finished our performance in LA and confetti were showered on us. We bowed as we thanked the fans for coming to our concert.

We went back to the hotel and Con, Tristan, and I left James in his hotel room (also mine since we're sharing) for awhile since we were going to get his cake that we prepared earlier. It is his birthday today and I'm very greatful to him since he started it all. He talked to me once before, well sort of, since it was in the internet. He pretty much started the whole thing. The band, everything.

We entered James' room though he didn't seem notice us though until we shouted.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY JAMES!" He turned to us with a big grin on his face.

"Thank you guys!" He took the cake, blew the candle, and faced us again with a weird look. He pointed at the cake with his left hand and asked us "Less sugar?" We nodded in response laughing. James is a health freak after all and it's really good. He does have a 6-pack! I would work out but then I can't stand not eating my favourite food.

We were now eating the cake along with Dean and Joe, chatting and going through our social media accounts. We all greeted James through twitter and I bet his mentions are going crazy. Fans our updated all the time after all.

I was scroling through my feed as I saw one of Hannah's tweets.

@HannuhCameron: Happy Birthday to one of my best pals @TheVampsJames You're getting older oops lol :) ily x

I liked it and proceeded to scroll through my twitter feed until I received a new message and it read out 'Hannah :)'

Hey Brad! Ik you're done performing so hi. Tell James that I left his gift with Con so he should get it from him. Con wasn't replying so I decided to message you. Sorreh for the bother and I'm vvv annoying okay bye x

I smiled as I read the text. She learned to put 'x's in her text messages or tweets from me. I influenced her a lot before and I'm glad she hasn't change, except for her american accent though.

Con was in the bathroom so that explains why he wasn't replying. He doesn't usually put his phone in his pocket before we perform so maybe he forgot to bring it with him but nevermind that.

I replied to her with a simple 'Okay x' since I didn't really know what to reply.

A few minutes later, Con returned and I showed him Hannah's message. He simply nodded with a smile and took his phone from the table beside me before heading to his hotel room. I assume he's getting James' birthday gift.

He came back with a rectangular box-ish thing wrapped in a white and blue 'Happy Birthday' wrapper.

"James, here's Hannah's gift." Con handed him the gift as James smiled. I don't even know when Hannah gave Con her gift. I never noticed at all but it was a good choice. If she gave it to me or Tris, we would've given him the gift earlier.

The boys and I crowded James but Joe and Dean remained in their seats, still eating cake.

James tore the wrapper to see a shoe box with a card attached to it. The card has a message in it and a drawing of a guitar. As expected from Hannah. She loves art and she's very talented in it too.

Jame opened the box and saw some Nike rubber shoes in it. He looked delighted.

He began reading the card out loud since we wanted to know what it said.

"Hey James! Happy Birthday! You're 21 I can't believe it. It seemed like yesterday when you turned 18. Well anywho, I hoped you liked the shoes. I was gonna get you a new acoustic guitar but I figured you had many plus I remember that you've been telling me that you wanted new sports shoes but you didn't have time to buy. I don't know what type you wanted so I just picked out what looked the best for me. Shoe size? I just searched it on the internet. Wasn't hard really. Btw, I'm very proud of you and the boys. You guys worked hard and you're one of the reasons why you guys are where you are now. Proud friend here! Okay, I don't wanna keep this long since I know you don't like long messages so Happy Birthday again James! I love you so much as a friend and thank you for all th good times!
