***Five days later***
The group headed over to the arena as the competitors for today's match were announced."Good luck Ciara" Liana was the first person to speak.
Ciara looked at her for half a second and with a faint smile,nodded her head.
She walked over to see her opponent after straightening the dress and leggings she had bought in the boutique.
"What are you doing here?" Ciara glared at the person who was supposed to be her opponent.
"Is something wrong,I came to see my love." He gave her a weird smile.
"Psst,I wouldn't love you if you're the last man on earth." Her voice held a mocking tone.
"We'll see about that,after I beat you in this match,I'll turn that smile of your's upside down"
She glared at him,"On the contrary, I don't think that will be happening, you see today I will humble you right to your knees".
"You know what,let me save you the stress,you won't defeat me"she locked her eyes with his."Not today,not even in your dreams." He appeared in front of her unexpectedly and held her chin forcing her to look into his orange eyes filled with darkness.
"Look here princess, don't get your hopes too high."
"Let me go" she twisted then kicked him making his hand release from her face.
"The match has started."
She swung her arms as the water enclosed her hands forming water tentacles."Haa,you think that's going to stop me." "Shut up!" She swung her right hand at him but it didn't leave damage.
She ran to him changing her tentacles into a hammer and brought it down on him,she gave him a super punch and kicked him to the other side as he hit the floor,dust raising in the air.
She stood and watched as Arkin sent out series of shock waves with his hands and legs. She didn't have time to react as the shock waves hit her knocking her off her feet.
She lay there for a split second then stood up using her tentacles she landed series of continuous punches, then swung her legs in a crescent motion sending out a spinning circular ice blade.
The ice blade slashed at his shoulder making him groan in pain. He looked at her as she rose a wall of water behind,he got another idea he sent out a huge shock wave at her water tentacles and as the waves collided with the water,it sent out an electric charge directly on her water limbs.
The electric charge passed through the water and into her skin, sending a great amount of pain as she held her head in pain.
"Water and electricity are enemies,always have been and always will be,when the shock wave landed directly on you, it caused a reaction and since the water was connected to your body, the electric wave penetrated to your body."
Arkin stared at the weak Ciara on the floor as he clutched his shoulder.He snapped his fingers and two iron rods shot out trapping her wrists and legs. Arkin looked at Ciara"do you still think you're going to save me the stress."She could see the wicked smile crawl on his face.
He moved near her and held her chin again,Ciara glared at him,she wasn't going to lose like that,she flicked her wrist, never had she been this happy she could condense air changing it's normally gaseous state to liquid, streams of water formed surrounded his body before freezing him.
As soon as he was frozen,the rods around Ciara froze and she fell to the ground weak due to the damage caused by the electricity."The winner is Ciara" The announcer yelled through the megaphone."We need to help her" Evette rushed towards Ciara.
"Ciara,are you okay" Evette helped Ciara stand.
"I'm fine"she released her body from Evette's grip."I just need more time to rest" Evette looked at the cuts on Ciara's hands.
"Ciara stop being stubborn,you were nearly electrocuted,please allow us to help"Aviva blocked Ciara's path.
"I'm fine,don't bother,you guys should train more"Ciara stopped in her steps but didn't look back. The group looked at Ciara's retreating figure. They knew she was acting strong,that deep down
she was hurt.
They wished they could help her aches but she never got too close to anyone,she always had her limits and precautions when it came to allowing people into her heart building those ever tall walls around people.
"She's right, you guys should train" Jude looked at his friends."What of you, aren't you coming" Liana saw Jude wasn't interested in training.
"I have a few things to do" he turned and left the group.
