Chapter 6

I pick up my speed walking faster and faster every step my heart beats in anger what right dose she have over me why do I give her power. " Taylah what was that" Rob says running up to me as I slow down and take a deep breath "That was a example of my life" I say maybe a little to harsh "you okay" he says softy as we completely stop as I feel his eyes on me as I look at the ground. I can hear Lachlan slowly catching up to us kicking rocks "Rob I really don't know anymore" I say looking up to meet his eyes.

"Please be okay and don't do anything bad" he says as he gives me a friendly hug "this is my street" he says waving as he starts walking "bye Lachlan" Rob says as he starts walking up his street "bye" Lachlan says back giving him a little wave leaving me and Lachlan by ourselves I start to walk home as he follows behind its weird how we live so close but his like always at friends houses so it's only sometimes he walks.

" Are you mad at me?" Lachlan says running up in front stopping me as he moves his dirty blonde hair out of his face "Why" I say like what dose he mean for all the years of being pushed around yes but Lachlan can be confusing. "I don't want you mad at me I know I was a bit caught in popularity but I have changed" his changed I can't trust him yet. I take a step back moving a bit of my hair out of my face "prove it" I say my voice shaking.

I don't want to fall in love with Lachlan Love is a game you win it all or lose everything but the sad thing is I think I'm already in this game what if I have been for years. Lachlan speeds up to be beside me " I told you I want to fix it " he says holding out a bit of paper folded up as he runs to his house. I really wish he could stay and maybe one day I will learn to trust him. I hold the bit of paper in my hands as I slowly unfold it it reads

And then his number I guess he must really want to help but again love is just all a game but what reward would I give him.

As I get home Noah and Piper are studying there so cute together I swear they will be together till the end I know Noah he has never looked at anyone as he has Piper at the start it was like okay but now she stays a lot at our house a lot and it's just really cute something I will never have . I take a deep breath as I take off my shoes "I'm home" I say trying to sound cheerful "hey Tay!" Piper says looking up from her text book for a second then looks down to write notes.

I head up to my room it's Friday tomorrow last day of school for the week finally. I pull out the piece of paper Lachlan gave me out of my jumper I don't know why but I pull out my phone and enter him into my contacts who knows I might need it. I feel like slapping myself "Taylah why would you ever need Lachlan's phone number!" I yell to myself in my head.

I head into the bath room I look like a mess why would Lachlan or Rob ever hang out with a thing like me. I grab my hair brush and walk over to sit by my bed and start to brush my hair. I look over at my window there is not much to see but the light only comes thew a couple of crakes from the wood. I cross my feat as I start to think and that's not usually a good thing cause I can over think a lot.

Being in the dark scares me but fear is more powerful then pain I don't want to live my life in fear any more. I rush to my feet and walkover to the pieces of wood covering my old window I grab one bit of wood pulling it of the wall as it hits the ground a bit more light comes thew I grip my hands around the neck piece of wood pulling it as hard I can till it lands on he floor nails still in it. I grab the last bit as I push and pull trying to get it off I put my food in the wall pulling back till it comes off. As it comes of I go falling back till I run into the wall. My head starts to hurt a little but it dose not matter I jump up grabbing onto my bed moving in near the window seeing my room is small I grab a hair tie and put my hair in a pony tail I take a look at the time to see I just have some time to run for a bit of a run

I grab my shoes and head down stairs "going for a run" I yell to Noah "fine take your phone" he yells back. I quickly grab my phone slipping it into my pocket as I run out the door maybe air will clean my brain I start by running down my street then the next one till I'm about 6 streets away without stopping I take a look at the time oh no it's almost dinner I take off on my feet picking up my speed as the sun sets as I said I hate the dark it's a fear so it heights there my main I guess.

I get to my street with out stopping as I run into the house I didn't need to worry about being late. Piper and Noah were asleep on the ground piper is  cuddled into his chest I got to the kitchen and grab some noodles out I put them on as I see Noah's phone going off I decide to leave it like its his phone if he touched mine he would be dead. I wait for my noodles to finish as I sit down and look at my phone till I hear the ding.

As it goes off I grab a bowl and put them in there as I take them over to the table I start to think about what I should do tomorrow I want to show everyone I'm not a broken mistake my thinking stops as Noah's phone goes off again well who ever it is I better see who it is I look at it, unknown number I decided to see who it is as I pick up the phone the voice send a shiver thew my body.
