Chapter 7

The voice I know it I remember it but from where
" hello? Noah you there "
I hold the phone in my hand just looking at it till the voice starts to talk again
" Noah it's Mitch Lachlan gave me your number and just seeing"
Mitch ?! It's Mitch for once his voice is soft reminding me of how it was when we where kids but theses day it's hard with no emotion he would never remember my name and it would be a shame if he knew what happened I wonder what he wants with my brother.
" Noah's not home " I say trying to sound firm so he hopefully won't notice my voice but why would he I never talk at school but as the words fall out of my mouth they sound more like a tremble.
" well who is this? Wait Tay-" I hang up the phone before he can finish.
His voice reminds me of so many memorises that I want to forget why can't we go back my life looked half decent, my future well it seemed like I was going to go somewhere but theses are the dark days.
- flashback -
" boo " I say hanging upside down from the tree in Prestons backyard as he tries to catch me "Taylah slow down" I can hear him as reaches for the branch below me " can't catch me " I say jumping up to take grasp of the old tree while Preston reaches the branch I was just standing on " we can stop here " he says taking a seat and patting the spot next to him requesting for me to stop and sit with him. I look at him trying to plead that we shouldn't settle in this low of a branch till I give in and sit down next to the only person I feel safe with. " I have something for you " his says reaching into his little black and blue school bag, he pulls out a little handwriting book with a cactus on it and a flower crown " for the flower princess " I giggle as he puts the crown over my head. Me and Preston where really close his was wise so in that way he was my father he was caring like a mother and protective like and older brother something Noah has never been and fun so he was my family. " Preston,Mitch is here " I hear his mother call out as a little young boy comes running out of the door like a dog chasing a ball running outside only to run into the tree. Rob starts to climb down " Come meet Mitch" he says jumping past two branches till he gets to the bottom to help Mitch up " Purstonnn " Mitch yells as they both give each other high fives " Mitch this is Taylah "Preston says his hand rescuing up to find my little body slowly coming down the tree " hello " he says giving me a wave and a massive smile I get to the last branch before stoping and walking to the edge " helloooooo " I say returning the wave and smile before doing s front flip of the branch I was the show off when I was little. Mitch mouth opens as I land perfectly " it doesn't alway end like that " Preston say trying to whisper but doing a really bad job at it " hey " I shout putting my hands on my hip as Mitch almost falls to the ground laughing.

I gasp for air as I find myself on the floor in the middle of my room I walk over and plug my computer in for the first time in years and walk over to grab some clothes to sleep in. I pick one of my black tops it may be big and baggy but that means it's perfect to sleep in,I grab it and walk over to my bathroom and take a look at the monster looking back at me no matter what people run away from me I look like the monster in my nightmares from when I was 8 trying to kill my spirt well I guess it has done its job. I turn the hot water on getting undressed my body as the heat of the water kisses my skin making it weak under the water causing me to fall to the ground putting my legs up to my chest as I struggle not to cry. As the time goes on I decide to just go to bed my phones rings and the wood below it starts vibrating I take a look to see that's it's Ella my body is to drained to even be fake right now so I just turn it off hoping that the nightmares don't come back tonight.
~ Mitch's POV ~
It's about 11 pm and I can't get my mind off Taylah she's not who she was and she hasn't talked to Preston in years and I can't help ur feel like I'm the one to blame I call Ella I don't know who else she talks to buy Noah and Ella and seeing I can't get Noah I may as well call Ella. I find her in my contacts and call her number " come on come on " I say listening to each ring "Mitch it's 11 you know " her voice sounds she doesn't want to talk but I have to try. " sorry I forgot girls need beauty sleep " I say as she laugh and I give a little fake laugh seeing I didn't think it's that funny " anyway where is Taylah ?" I say " oh umm at her house I don't know, why?"
" oh okay thank you anyway "
" I can call her and get her to talk to you ?" I start to get hope I use to be her friend she can't be that mad.
" yea get her to call me, thanks" I say about to hang up the call
" love "she says as I hang up , I have no idea what that's about but I have heard that Ella has a mad crush on me I hope she doesn't think I like her I think putting my phone on charger before going onto the computer to Skype Preston we still keep in contact even after the fight, Taylah doesn't know we made up seeing that Preston wasn't here I took my anger out on her and now that's why she hates me and Preston just said she just stopped talking and didn't go on social media anymore that was the start of us making up.... If it wasn't for her I would of lost it but I never meant to hurt her that's the down side. look up Instagram and see Jess being a slut again all over them boys it's like Lachlan is blind he could be a nice guy but his the leader of bad boys and just like the rest I'm a follower. ( no pun intended, I love you if you get it :3 ) "I don't wanna think anymore"I say punch my pillow I'm done with being a follower I repeat over and over agin till I fall asleep.

~~ Morning Taylahs POV Monday ~~
After spending the weekend alone not even leaving my room much I haven't even touched my phone.I wake up screaming again this nightmare has been going on for weeks I never get to see the face before I'm tossed into a van or I run into a endless forest . My skin crawls as I curl up into my little ball as I can hear Noah yelling down stairs as I move my dead body of the bed and start to make it as my phone goes off for the second time like jeez I'm not Jess or anything why would they be calling me again.Today I decide to put my hair into a plat just cause it's that day I wear my ripped jeans a with dark blue shirt I only have black, dark blue and white clothes and I don't like to wear white to school cause all the posh girls wear white everyday like don't you just wanna spill something down their experience white skirts but there not even that long at lest Ella has different colours mostly yellow. I grab my bag while Noah shows up in the door he looks down as his feet as I slip my shoes on " coming ? " I say as he just looks at me with red eyes " leave " he shouts pointing to the door and you don't need to tell me twice I open and shut the door as quickly as I can making sure I hear a bang as I start to walk to school with my hands in my pockets.

"Taylah" rob yells running to me " how was your weekend " he asks putting his hand on my back as I come to a stop all I really want to do is break into tears but I have to stay strong " it was okay, yours?" I say as my voice cracks a little Rob looks at me like he knows I'm lying but doesn't want to question it to make it worst " yea it was good Lachlan came over and we just hanged out and played games " the fact that someone like Rob is friends with Lachlan I would never think in a million years and what about me and him are we .... Friends " that sounds fun " I say starting to walk again smile if cause the truth is it does sound fun " yea you should hang with us this weekend where going to a horror park with one of our other friends in Texas where flying Friday night think you could make it " I feel like jumping up and down getting away from my mother sounds like the perfect idea for a weekend but it's Texas and I don't know if I would have the money " oh I would love to just don't know if I would have the money " I say looking down at my feet I could break out all my birthday notes dad sent me with money in them if I needed to " oh okay let me know it if you can it would be really fun " I smile at the thought of how much I use to love Texas " yea I use to live in Texas " I say trying to start an conversation. " that's so cool I used to live in Canada " now I can see where rob gets his thick accent from " haha explains a lo, yea I met Mitch cause my friend in Texas parents knew each other and they where friends so they use to visit till I moved to Australia I was born here but moved when I was 5 and came back when I was 10 and Mitch moved to Australia when I was 12 and he was 13 and now I don't even talk to him,we where close " I say I think that's the longest thing I have said out loud for what seems like years.
