Chapter 5

Lachlan has not seen me yet his with the boys and Jess on his left I feel a pain of jealousy wait what no I have no feeling for Lachlan 100% not I think I'm going crazy. I see Piper run into Noah's arms as she kisses him on the cheek they then lock hands and walk into school I beat she will say yes to going with him but that means for me I will have to stay at home alone or like stay at the carnival with them so I guess home alone yay .... not. I start walking over to the gates with every step my breath getting deeper and deeper. " Hey look everyone the show has came early but they only brought us the clown" Jess yells pointing at me as everyone starts to laugh. As I slowly walk up the steps Jess steps in front of me "What's wrong you still have no life well news flash you will never get one" I feel anger bubble up inside me as I look into her eyes I look over at Lachlan he seems scared well I knew he would never help me.

I push her out off the way as she falls down with a shock expression on her face all the boys do is look at her not even Lachlan moves. I don't look back I got straight to my locker and grab my books . I hurry to my first class but then I run into someone oh no not this again I put my hands over my head waiting to get hit but nothing comes "I'm so sorry " the voice says. I slower looked up it was a guy about my age with brown hair he, quickly picks up his books. "Need a hand" he says putting his hand out, I slowly grab it unsure what to do I have never seen him before around school. I stand up as he picks up my books "here my names Rob" he says cheerfully giving me my books "oh hey I'm Taylah are you new?" Dam Taylah he could of been here for a year you may of never looked up to see him. "First day" he says with a smile he has a adorable smile. "Do you mind show me to ummmm" he pulls out out his time table "Maths 5x" I look up him 5 classes are the top ones and the hard ones I guess he must be smart. "Yea sure I'm in that class to I say smiling at him "come on let me show you the way" I say really fancy "haha thank you your really nice" he says following me.

We head to class and I go take a seat while Rob goes and meets the teacher. "Call this is our new student Robert" "sir its Rob" Rob says with his head down looking at his feet playing with his hands. "Well Rob you may take a seat" he scans the room for a seat till he finds me in the back row alone. He slowly walks over " do you mind if I" he says "Yer sure" I say pulling out the chair. He smiles and sits in there and gets all his books reddy "no problem" I say getting a pen out of my pencil case "friends?" He says holding out his hand "friends" I say shaking it.

After school finishes I head to my locker today was a good day I had every class with Rob but the last one so I stayed away from Emily cause Rob was always there but last period Emily thew a couple notes at me but I didn't mind I thew them at destiny and I could here them talk behind my back but u didn't care. Rob said he lived near me so we where going to walk together I try and find Rob making sure not to run into any of the popular kids or something like that "Taylah" I here Robs voice I see him standing with Lachlan. Now that I think of it Lachlan was looking at me in a lot in class I had him in my class twice today but I had Rob with me sure I could not help looking at him but I don't want to have feelings for him he hurt me. I walk over to Rob and Lachlan my hair dropped on my shoulder "hey Taylah this is Lachlan I'm sure you guys will get alone great" I look up at Lachlan and mentally slap myself and Rob he dose not know. I look down at my feet "Tay what's wrong" Rob says tapping my shoulder maybe I should just go along with it, I don't want to lose Rob his my only friend.

" Yer fine" I say smiling as Lachlan shuts he locker and we start to walk out of the school gates I don't look up my eyes only on the ground as the school goes silent I can feel the eyes that lay on us I look at Rob he has a confused slash scared look on his face he dose not know that Lachlan would never hang out with people like us he must of showed him his good side I see the popular kids come up to Rob seeing that he is in the middle of me and Lachlan. "Well Well someone trying to be cool" one says coming up in Robs face I have a feeling I need to move but then Lachlan dose he stands right in front of Rob "touch him and your dead" Lachlan looks like he has a sudden anger in his eyes. Jess comes running over in her high heels trying not to slip. "Lachlan what the heck is wrong with you hanging out with these people they will well that boy" she says pointing at Rob as a tear falls down his face his brown eyes now white. "He will probably just do nothing his to weak and as for the girl". She says her finger now pointed at me "look at me" she yells. I slowly look at her as hate fills my body "she would be her normal self and rape you or something cause she's a slut". "Emily" Lachlan yells as Emily turns around and starts kissing another guy.

"You know what Jess" I say walking over to her with a smile. "What slut" she says letting the boy go as I get close " you can't call me something you are I'm not your personal mirror" I say putting my hands on my hip. She looks at me shocked as I know everyone by now is looking. She walks up to me to get up all in my face "if you where a mirror of me your would at lest dress better you have nothing on me what do you do walk cause you can't drive a car" she says I bit my lip knowing that I would never have the money to. "You wear trash to school it's like your mum and dad don't want you wait they never did" she says spitting in my face. I take my hand and get the spit of my face my hands become a fist as my hand smashes into her jaw as she falls back.
"Let's go" I call Lachlan and Rob over as I put my hands in my hoodie
