As I entered my house, I was espoused by uncomfortable silence. The sound of the wind was the only thing I heard. I immediately went to the kitchen since my stomach had been growling for the past minute.
Once I got there, I opened the refrigerator and quickly grabbed some left-over chicken Alfredo pasta. Most of the food we had were either frozen or left-overs. I would cook but that would be too time consuming since my uncle was barely home.
I popped the pasta in the microwave, set the timer for five minutes, and got out of the kitchen. I literally did anything I could do within those five minutes.
I read a few chapters of my Geography textbook, cleaned the living room, and prepared a platter and a fork. When the timer beeped, I mentally fist pumped in the air. I grabbed something heatproof and used it to get the pasta out of the microwave. I placed it on my platter and immediately went to the living room.
I plopped on the couch and relaxed for a bit while enjoying my meal. Feeling the unsteady atmosphere around me, I rushed to my uncle's vintage vinyl player. I placed a One Direction:Four vinyl that I had bought from a garage sale a few weeks ago.
It was definitely worth it.
Night Changes was currently playing and I was swaying to the music while answering some take-home exams and memorizing highlighted points from my worksheets.
I had finished all my tasks in an hour. I would usually finish within thirty minutes if it weren't for Zayn's falsetto voice.
I turned the vinyl player off since it was quite distracting. I took the vinyl record from the player, giving it a little peck before placing it back on the vinyl compartment.
I went back to the couch and just simply laid there doing nothing. After a debate between myself and my inner self, I finally settled on watching some Adventure Time episodes.
If you haven't noticed-which you probably haven't-I am a big fan of Adventure Time. A fangirl, to be exact. My bedsheets had Finn and Jake's faces imprinted on them. I had Finn and Jake stuffed toys. I had all the lyric books. I had magazines that revolved around Adventure Time.
If there was something that could top my devotion to One Direction, it would be my addiction to Adventure Time.
The episodes were really boring since I have watched them multiple times already. After contemplating for a little while, I finally got my arse up and went to my bedroom.
I changed into some comfortable pajamas before settling on my bed. I lighted my Vanilla Bean Marshmallow candle before picking a book to read. It was the only thing that was girly about me.
I read a few chapters of Forgive Me, Leonard Peacock by Matthew Quick before opening my phone. I may be a nerd but that doesn't excuse me from having a cellphone.
While rummaging through my blog, my phone vibrated three times. All the notifications were from my Facebook. I opened my account and I immediately had three friend requests.
Dylan Howard wants to be your friend. Accept or Decline?
Accept.
Brandy Austgen wants to be your friend. Accept or Decline?
Accept.
Tyler Ashby wants to be your friend. Accept or Decline?
Accept.
The minute I accepted all their friend requests, my phone vibrated again. It was a facebook message from Dylan.
Dylan Howard: Wiggins, what a pleasant surprise.
