The news

Steve turned his head and looked at the clock. 11:49pm. He made some eggos he found in his freezer from having El over a lot. He put butter on them, not wanting any syrup, and walked back to his room.

It had been like this ever since finding out Eddie was dead. Steve cried every night, blaming himself for not being there to save Eddie. Steve had fallen head over heels in love with Eddie Munson. He wished he had told the older. The only person who knew about the crush was Robin. Steve trusted Robin with his life vise versa.

When Steve was done with the eggos he sat the plate aside and tried to get some sleep. He laid there for an hour. He got up and grabbed Eddie's vest that he had gave the younger when Steve was attacked by the demobats. This was the only thing that helped Steve sleep. To Steve it still sort of smelt like Eddie. Steve laid back down and soon dozed off.

Steve woke up to Eleven shaking him. Steve groaned and sat up rubbing his eyes.

"El what did I say about using your powers to unlock my doors when I'm asleep." Steve said, his voice deep and raspy.

"Sorry."

Steve's eyes looked at the clock. It was 1:25pm. He looked at the girl in front of him and asked why she was there and by herself.

"I'm here cuz I have something to tell you." She said fully sitting on the bed.

"Okay what is it?"

"I saw how sad everyone was cuz Eddie was dead and I had this gut feeling so I took it upon myself to see if I could find him and I did."

"Okay you found him what else?"

"Steve," El put her hand on his crossed leg, "Eddie's not dead."

Steve was stunned by what he just heard. Is Eddie really alive Steve thought to himself.

"But Dust-" Steve was cut off.

"Steve I know what I saw, he's alive. But he's hurt, really hurt."

Steve knew she wasn't lying. Why would she lie Steve thought.

"Where is he?"

"In a trailer."

Steve stood up and got his shoes on.

"Don't go alone Steve." El warned.

"Okay I'll take you back to Mike's, alright?" Steve said grabbing his car keys.

"Okay."

The car ride was silent and felt very long. When they got to the Wheeler's house they got out the car and walked in the house. Mike came over and hugged and kissed El on the cheek.

"Is your sister home?" Steve asked looking up the stairs.

"Yeah she's in her room." Mike answered walking away with El.

Steve rushed to Nancy bedroom and knocked on the door.

"Come in!" Was heard on the other side of the door.

Steve walked in to see Nancy and Jonathan sitting on the bed doing their own thing.

"Nance I need you to come with me." Steve said, his voice monotone.

"For what?"

"I'll tell you on the way to get Robin. Just come on." Steve whined the last part.

"Okay okay. Jonathan make sure holly and the rest of them don't get into to much trouble."

"Aye aye captain."

They walked out the house and got in the car. It was silent for awhile until Nancy broke the silence.

"Are you gonna tell me or not?"

"With Robin cuz we're here."

Nancy sighed. Steve parked the car and told Nancy to stay there and went to get Robin. He came back a few minutes later, Robin behind him.

"Tell me now dingus" Robin said getting into the backseat of the car.

Steve backed out the driveway and started driving for a few minutes.

"Okay so basically El woke me up to tell me that Eddie was still alive and that he was severely injured. She said he was in his trailer and that I couldn't go alone. So I rounded up my two gal pals and we're going to save the love of my life!" Steve said sounding like Robin.

"Wow wow Harrington Eddie's alive!?!?"

"Yes Rob and we are going to save him!"

"Okay sounds like a plan" Robin said as they pulled into the trailer park.

So I randomly thought of this a couple days ago and decided to make it a story. Also I need title ideas. I'm hoping Eddie gets resurrected like Jesus in season five cuz I love him and they had no right killing him off so soon. 😭😭😭
