Tw: self harm, eating disorder, suicide, mental abuse

"So what's up?"

"Okay so we need to talk about Eddie"

"What about him"

"Things that he won't tell you about"

"Well if he doesn't want to tell me then why are you"

"Cuz you need to know these things they're important"

"Well what are they"

"Okay for starters Eddie has anxiety and depression.  If it doesn't seem like he does it's cuz the depression he has is also called smiling depression. Do you know what that is"

"Yeah it's when you fake being okay but on the inside you're breaking down."

"Okay good so self harm and other things kinda just come with the anxiety and depression."

"Yeah.."

"Eddie harms himself a lot. He cuts and burns himself. But he'll only try to hide it to a certain extent. It's kinda like he wants you to know but at the same time he doesn't. They aren't small cuts they are normally long and deep. And he normally cuts in the bath cuz you bleed more so check on him constantly when he's taking a bath or shower. Eddie also has Bulimia. Do you know what that is?"

Steve just shook his.

"Eddie will eat but he'll go to the bathroom and throw it back up as to not gain weight. That's one of the many things he fears, gaining weight. And sometimes he won't eat at all. He judges himself all the time, point out all his flaws, mentally, and wish he wasn't alive. But sometimes he has his days where he wants to eat everything you give him."

"H-How do you know all of this?"

"Steve I've been friends with him since the day he began attending Hawkins middle."

Steve nodded his head as a tear rolled down his face.

"Eddie was also a victim of mental abuse so just expect a lot of apologies from him even if it's not his fault. He also need a lot of reassurance that you love him cuz love was rare in his childhood and being at the lab didn't help. If y'all ever get into fights he'll probably break down right there cuz when some raises their voice it scares him."

"Did I cause any of this"

"Well I mean yeah you bullied him and beat him and he came back to us crying"

"It was Tommy H. I just stood there"

"Yeah you didn't help him"

"I know I messed up" Steve wiped his tears away just for more to roll down his face.

"I'll drive"

"O-Okay"

The boys swapped seats and put their seatbelts on. Steve looked out the window, still crying. He felt guilty for the pain Eddie goes through. Yes he's had his fair share of depression and stuff but it wasn't like what Eddie was constantly feeling. Steve wished he could make it all go away cuz all Eddie deserves is happiness.

"I wasn't like threatening you or trying to scare you Steve"

"I know. You were just warning me for the battles I'll have to go through and help Eddie win."

"Exactly" Gareth pulled into his own driveway and parked the car.

"Can you drive?"

"Yeah I'll be fine" Steve said walking over to the drivers side, getting in and shutting the door.

Gareth walked back over to the car and Steve rolled the window down, "don't treat Eddie differently now that you know about everything."

"I won't" Gareth walked away from the car and towards his house.

Gareth waved from his garage, Steve waved back and pulled out of the driveway. He went to the wheelers to see if Eddie was there.

Karen opened the door, "Hey Steve what's up?"

"Hey uh is Eddie here"

"He is not I'm afraid but I think they all went to your house cuz none of them are here actually"

"Oh okay thank you"

"No problem drive safe!"

"Yes ma'am!" Steve got in the car and headed towards his house.

When he got there billy and Nancy's cars were in the driveway and so were the bikes. He parked the car and got out. He put his keys in his pocket and opened the front door that was already unlocked. He walked in to see everyone in the living room watching a movie. They all waved at him then got back to the movie. Steve walked up behind Eddie and leaned down to his ear.

"Come upstairs with me please" Steve whispered his hot breath landing on Eddie neck.

Eddie excused himself and walked upstairs with Steve. They walked into Steve's room and Steve shut the door. He walked over to Eddie and hugged him and the other hugged back. Eddie looked up at Steve

"I will always love you no matter what"

"I will too"

Steve leaned down and kissed Eddie. Steve pushed Eddie back onto the bed and got on top of him and started tickling him. Eddie started laughing and kicking his legs. Steve was laughing too.

"STEVE PLEASE STOP" Eddie screamed while laughing

Steve stopped and let Eddie catch his breath. The metalhead flipped Steve off and coughed a bit.

"Your an ass"

"Oh but you love this ass"

"Damn right I do"

Eddie pulled Steve into a kiss. Steve kissed back and started showering his boyfriend with kisses all over his face and neck.

"Steveee I love you too"

Steve pulled away and looked Eddie in the eyes

"You're the love of my life Eddie"

"And you're the love of my life Steve"

"Never forget that"

"I won't"

Steve kiss Eddie and carried him out down the stairs and back to his place on the couch.

"Please tell me y'all didn't just fuck"

"We didn't billy I just wanted to carrying him"

Yay we got to the point. It was sad but we still got to the point tho.
