Wayne got there in about 25 or more minutes. The nurse led him to Eddie's room and they walked in and saw the two laughing and Eddie winced

"Don't make me laugh Harrington" Eddie said as he coughed and held his abdomen.

"Sorry sorry!"

Eddie looked up and saw his uncle smiling and crying. Eddie smiled wide and opened his arms gesturing for his uncle to come hug him. Wayne walked over and carefully hugged Eddie as to not hurt him.

"You scared me kid" his uncle said as he ruffled Eddie's hair.

"I missed you too Wayne"

Wayne let go examining his nephew. He had an IV in his left arm, his hair was messy and dirty, his neck had bruises on it, and you could see where the bandages wrapped around his abdomen. Then he looked at Steve and hugged him tight.

"Thank you for saving him" he whispered to Steve.

Steve hugged back and whispered, "Don't thank me"

Wayne let go of Steve and smiled slightly. Steve watch as Wayne looked towards Eddie and started talking with him.

"I'm gonna give y'all some privacy " he stood up and walked out of the room.

Steve walked to the cafeteria and got some water. He looked around as he drank it and saw Robin and Nancy laughing together. He smiled to himself and walked to the family room that they said he and the others could use if we planned on staying.

After awhile Wayne walked in the room and sat beside him.

"He loves you, you know that"

"Really"

"Yeah all he talks about besides dnd and music is 'Steve Harrington and everything about him'" Wayne chuckled a bit.

Steve laughed too, "I love him too"

Wayne smiled and stood up.

"He wants to see you by the way."

Wayne walked away and Steve stood up and walked to Eddie's room. Eddie started smiling like he usually does and Steve smiled back.

"Hey Eds"

"Hi Stevie"

Steve laid on the bed with Eddie and got comfortable on the bed. Eddie had his head on Steve bicep and Steve laid his head on top of Eddie. They dozed off a few minutes later.

This is a short chapter. I did that for a reason but just know there is going to be a big time skip in the next chapter.
