Act 2

Summer had come and go and now it was time for the groups 8th grade year. After christmas Athena and Steve took the briefcase and reached out to Hopper to see if he could find out anything else out, so far nothing. Lucas was the only one in the party Athena had told about the briefcase and her theories, not that she didn't trust everyone else it's just she didn't have much information. During the summer she worked on controlling her powers and getting use to them, it made her miss El but for her she would try. Also during the summer the town had built an arcade. But now it was a Sunday in October and Athena was trying to get some sleep when her walkie went off.

Dustin-Lucas, you copy? I've got four quarters. What's your haul?
Lucas-Take your puny haul and multiply it by five.
Dustin- How?
Lucas - While you were scrounging around like a homeless bum, I mowed Old Man Humphrey's lawn.
Dustin-Old Man Humphrey's got that kinda cash?
Lucas- Anyway. Athena do you copy?
Dustin- Thena!

Athena reached down and grabbed her walkie

Athena- yeah yeah I copy. I love waking up to the beautiful sound of Dustins voice
Dustin- love you too. Anyway what's your haul?
Athena- Like $10 or something
Lucas- nice!
Dustin- how did you get that much?
Athena- well Dustin when your parents are never around and miss holidays and stuff-
Dustin- yeah I got it sorry. Just meet us there.

Athena got up and got dressed. She grabbed her walkman and started to walk out the door when Steve stopped her. Standing in his mom posse.

Steve- Where are you going?
Athena- arcade
Steve- okay have fun

Athena started playing separate worlds as she bikes. She pulled up to the arcade seeing Mike, Dustin, and Lucas already there. They waved her over.

Lucas- hey!
Dustin- Athena goddess of wisdom and war welcome
Athena- omg.

Dustin bowed down. Jocye then pulled up and Will climbed out of the car. Athena walked over to the drivers side

Jocye- Hi sweetie how are you?
Athena- I'm good, how are you?
Joyce- better. Keep an eye on Will for me?
Athena- always.

The group made there way inside. The group watching Dustin play dragon lair.

Dustin-Oh, Jesus! I'm in unchartered territory here, guys.

The group started yelling different things

Dustin-Okay. Shut up. Shut up. Shut up! No! No! No! I hate this overpriced bullshit! Son of a bitch! Piece of shit!
Lucas-You're not nimble enough. But you'll get there one day. But until then, Princess Daphne is still mine.
Dustin-Whatever. I'm still tops on Centipede and Dig Dug.
Athena- still suck at pac man

Keith then walked up to the group

Keith-You sure about that?
Dustin-Sure about what?

The group walked over to the games

Lucas- 751,300 points!
Mike- That's impossible.
Athena- apparently not
Dustin- Who is Mad Max?
Keith- Better than you.
Athena- is pac man safe?

Dustin- Is it you?

Mike- Then who is it?
