JEONGYEON

I didn't know when and how but a little late after that, I just found myself in the middle of the crowd dancing. I don't know where Seulgi went off. I tried finding her but it's really hard when you're surrounded with lots of drunk people and dim lights.

Did she just leave me here? Alone?

The people started dancing a little bit energetic and I felt somebody else's body grinding on mine, so I quickly left the dance floor. My mind is still hazy and I felt like I'll collapse here any moment now. Luckily, I found a nearest seat at the bar counter and I sat there resting my face at the counter top.

I don't know how long I stayed like that, but I suddenly felt thirsty.

"Can I get one glass of beer?" I ordered.

The bartender immediately fulfilled my order and as soon as it is placed in front of me I gulped it down my throat. What? I'm thirsty!

"Chill. The beer is all yours to drink" a voice of a woman beside me talked.

I looked over her and oh she's pretty and she looks very familiar.

"I know, babe" she responded.

Oh wait, did I said that out loud? I face palmed myself.

"Sorry, who are you?"

"Oh right, that's very rude of me to not introduce myself. Bona" she hold up her hand for a handshake.

"Oh.." I shook her hand. But I did not bother engaging into another conversation with her.

My Mom once told me never to talk to strangers, even if you know their name.

I get back on drinking the remaining contains of my beer. I called the waiter and ordered for another one. The beer here tastes so good.

I noticed that the woman beside me still kept her gaze on me. And I don't really mind it at some point, I'm used to it since we're quite famous in the school grounds. But I felt like a few more minutes and I'll be a melted ice cream here.

"I know I'm gorgeous but you've been staring at me for quite a while you know. Take a break"

She laughed at my blunt words. "I'm sorry, I'm just mesmerized to finally see close up the infamous Yoo Jeongyeon"

I immediately turned my head at her. "You know me?" I don't remember giving my name to her.

"I'm from the same school as you, I'm the captain of the cheerleader team"

"Ah...." I just nodded. Come to think of it, I never really paid attention to other people around me except my friends and teachers.

I mean not to sound rude but I'm not just a sociable type of person. I may be boastful and proud sometimes but I'm actually introverted.

The woman beside me did not talk any further and later on I just noticed that she's not there anymore. I guess she got bored.

"Hi Miss" another voice interrupted my alone time again. But this time it's a man's voice.

"Not interested" I replied boredly.

"Oh c'mon, you haven't even get to know me yet. Can I sit here?" he sat beside me without  waiting for my response.

"What part of not interested did you not get?" I said in an irritated tone.

"You're so feisty, like my type" he showed me a smug look on her face.

I scrunched up my face at him. "You're so annoying, can you leave me alone?" I don't really wanna start a fight, especially here at Wendy's cousin's bar.
