JEONGYEONIt's been a month since I start going into café des sept, the cafe I went to last time.
I've been trying their drinks and pastries. There's a lot of varieties and I've been ordering each one of them every time I went there. But I don't visit often, maybe just once or twice a month.
It actually depends on my mood. When I'm too lazy to cook for my breakfast, I go and drive there. But since I don't really eat breakfast, that's just a rare occurence.
But, I do spend my after lunch time there. Whenever I don't have plans for the day, I'll just sit in the corner of the cafe and drink coffee, while enjoying the nice and pleasant atmosphere.
Though these days, I've been busy packing up my luggage for a vacation. Nayeon really did kept her words. Just a week ago, she called me to tell me we were going to South Island in New Zealand.
She did not say anything more than the place. She didn't say the specific place we would be staying nor the activities we would do. But she did inform me that well be staying for 10 days there.
So, I just did my research and brought clothes that are suitable for the trip. Well, I hope they are. If not, then maybe I'll just buy clothes there.
Anyway, as usual I'm here on the cafe right now. I'm sitting on my usual seat, with an iced americano and a plate of pain au chocolat. I'm reading a book I randomly grabbed from a shelf here.
It's cool right? They had a library here that I just discovered recently. And it was big, I'm surprised that this cafe is really big. It's not noticable in a distance because you had to enter to find it for yourself.
They allowed customers to borrow books in the condition of returning it the same as how you borrow it.
"Hi Jeong!" a bubbly voice greeted me.
"Oh, hi Nan!" I greeted back, sparing her a subtle glance.
On the days I spent here, I actually grew close with Nana, the girl who I met on my first time here. Well not really that close, but I could say that I'm not uncomfortable with her presence anymore unlike the first time.
She's actually not that bad. She's quite a very bubbly and happy-go-lucky girl, kinda reminds me of Sana.
She's just so clingy and affectionate towards me. It's fine on normal days but she's gotten clingier each day that pass. People would even mistaken us to be in a relationship.
But maybe it's just how she is.
I think she's even more clingier than Nayeon and Sana combined.
Everytime I went here, she'll always be here too. I'm suspecting she's stalking me because this is too frequent to be a coincidence.
"What are you reading?" she asked even though she's already peeking at the book I'm reading.
"Just a random book, I got" I told her.
I felt the couch of my seat dipped, indicating that she's already sitting beside me.
"Why are you here? You're not stalking me, are you?" I closed the book and looked at her inquisitively.
Nana laughed at me. "No, silly. I own this cafe, obviously I had to be here to check if my business is doing good"
I looked at her, an obvious shock was shown on my face. "You did not told me that! You said you're just a regular customer"
"I liked keeping a low profile, Jeong" she replied with a smile.
"Then why do I still have to pay for my orders, I thought we were friends..." I joked.
