Nayeon was busy mixing the batter for the cookies that she was going to bake. She figured that she would visit her lover at work and give her these sweet treats. And maybe they can spend a few minutes together, before continuing their work.
It's been a week since their dinner date, and she can't help but miss the blondie. She texted her last week that she's going to be busy, and won't be available for the next few days. Nayeon understood that she was occupied with work, however, she couldn't help but worry still.
She keeps on messaging her, but Jeongyeon won't respond. She won't even read her messages.
Was she so busy that she can't even bother to check my messages?
While waiting for the cookies to cook in the oven, she decided to check the location of Jeongyeon on her phone. Of course she kept a tracker, her mind can't rest without knowing her lover's location. She just had to know. All the time.
The small red dot points at an unfamiliar location. She never saw it before. And throughout her whole stalking, she had never saw Jeongyeon in this place.
What is this place? And what is she doing in here?
*Ting*
Nayeon immediately dropped her phone to check the oven. She doesn't want all of her hard work to go into waste. But as she was setting down the tray of freshly cooked cookies on the table counter, her head suddenly throbbed.
At first, it was tolerable. But then, it started aching again. She instinctively held her head with both of her hands as she hopes that the pain subsides again. However, it just continued, throbbing with an excruciating pain as seconds pass.
Even though she felt weak, she tried walking at her room to reach for her prescribed medicine. But before she could pop a pill inside her mouth, her consciousness slowly began drifting away. And she blacked out at the floor of her room, with the pills scattered on the tiled floor.
JEONGYEON
"Boss! I missed you! How are you?" I looked at the source of the sound and found Damian with a stupid grin on his face.
"What did I tell you again about calling me "Boss"?"
"Chill, Miss Yoo. Why are you so tensed?" Damian, out of nature, pulled out his box of cigarettes and lighted one.
I immediately cringed at the smell that instantly invaded my nostrils. I hate cigarettes.
"Can't you do that outside? This is a closed area."
"Oop- sorry boss!" He inhaled one last puff before he threw it outside the warehouse.
I am currently inside an abandoned warehouse, which is actually an underground chamber. We only use this place to torture those who betray us. Well, they do the torturing, while I mostly just watch for a few minutes.
I really hate blood, it's disgusting. I also don't like getting myself dirty. However, I still need to put on a show for those scumbags, so they don't take me as a coward.
If you'd ask my old self if I ever imagine killing someone, I'd probably cringe so hard at the thought.
But time changes, so does I.
I don't like killing of course, but I don't have a choice. Besides, I don't kill innocent people.
Back to the moment, I am back here again because they found someone spying on us again. This is the third time this month that someone tried to access the files on our headquarters' computers again. I'm starting to think that everyone was a mole. Should I just fire every single personnel I have?
