Chapter 10: final goodbyes🌼

Y/n POV

*2 weeks later*

Today is the day I move to the madrigal's. My wedding is in a week and even though this is all a setup, I'm pretty stressed out. What if everything isn't perfect.

I just got done finished packing my stuff. I intentionally left a couple of my things because, I'm not planning on spending my whole time at casita. I can't just leave my nana and mom just because pa can't let go.

"Honey is everything packed?"mami asked. "Yes"

"Oh I'm going to miss you so much" I gave her a great bear hug. "You know I'm going to come her everyday right?" I muttered.

"Do you think Camilo is just going to let you leave hours upon hours and come back late at night?" She teased me.

"He is not the boss of me, being his fiancé doesn't mean im his child" I fought back and kissed Miami's cheek.

"Y/n, I love you" I nodded and hugged her. I didn't think this day would come so soon.

She left and pa walked in. I rolled my eyes and pretended to fold some clothes. "You can't go on like this forever" he tried getting my attention. "Watch me" I smirked and got my luggage. "No goodbyes for me?"

I ignored his comment and slipped my shoes on. "Get out andres, I need to talk to my grand baby" she smacked pa with her hand. I giggled and dad rushed out. "Oh baby, I'm so sorry you have to do this" she hugged me. "Hey don't worry, it'll all be over before you know it" I tried to reassure her but it was a little more for me.

"Goodbye mi vida" she hugged me tight. "I love you nana" we stayed like that for a bit. I know I would miss nana the most. 

I got out of my room and down the stairs. I waved goodbye to my family and went to casita with Alma. 

"We started on the wrong foot with this wedding thing, what can we do to help you?" Alma asked kindly.

'Calling off the wedding' I thought fighting an eyeroll. " nothing, it's fine, I'm getting used to the idea" I kindly said.

She gave me  a warm smile. "I know you've been to my casa before but, I'm not sure if you've been in my grandson's room" she looked at me grinning.

"No, not really" I replied.

"You will be sleeping with him, but, if you feel uncomfortable, casita could always open up a guest room for you until you guys are married"

"I don't want to intrude, I'll stay with him" I'll probably just sleep on the floor. 

After that the walk was pretty silent. We finally reached casita. Everyone came up to me with welcoming hugs. "I'll take your stuff to his room" Luisa insisted. I nodded and the rest of the girls  dragged me off. 

I saw Camilo up the stairs but he didn't come down. "Sooo, you are going to be living with us now!" Mirabel cheered. 

"Yeah I'm so exited but, where is Camilo?" I clearly knew where he was. Isabela smirked. "He is behind the door debating wether he should knock or not" Dolores calmly explained.

"You should come in!" Isabela teased. The door gently opened. "Hey y/n, uhm... mami said I should help you move into my room" no making any eye contact with me, he walked away. I looked at the girls behind me and the signaled to go. 

This should be interesting...
