What Was That?.....

Grians POV

"Mumbo? Where are you?" I say calling out the field of flowers

"Right here darling." Mumbo says behind me before putting a hand on my shoulder and kissing my cheek

"Don't scare me like that." I say as I let out a sigh

"Sorry love"

Love?...

I open my eyes to be blinded by the sun and a shadow in front of me

"What's going on?" I say in a soft monotone voice

My vision becomes a little more clear as I sit up in a bed that is clearly not mine and the shadow disappears

As my brain processes where I'm at I say something with my face going red as a tomato and calling out
"WHERE AM I?! WHOS BED IS THIS?! WHATS GOING ON!"

<wait? This is Mumbo's bed? Why am I in Mumbo's bed?!>

Mumbo comes running upstairs with a worried then a relieved face

"Grian! Your ok!" He says running to my side

"Mumbo what's going on!?"

"Calm down, you collapsed while we were talking at your base so I carried to my base since you haven't got a bed. Or water. Or anything really."

"Oh ok.. "

"Grian I'm going say something and you might not like it.. "

"Okayyy?"

"You need to move your base. Or at least find a better place away from the rift."

<what?> "but my hard work.. several hours of every day.. b-but why?!" I yell at him with tears running down my face

He looks at me with glassy eyes "because being by the rift is affecting you health."

"What? No it's not I've been over by the rift for months it has not effected me!"

I get up from his bed, put on my shoes and walk out the door but before I do Mumbo grabs my arm

"Mumbo?" I turn around and he pulls me in close to him

"I'm sorry in advance." He says before he kisses me It lasted for only a minute but god i wish that could've lasted forever

I stand there shocked

Mumbo stands there looking at my shocked face "oh god what have I done g-grian I am so sorry I shouldn't have done that" he starts to ramble before I grab his face and pull him in smashing our lips together

He grabs my waist as we pull away

"Mumbo it's ok." I say with a soft smile and walk out of the house

Mumbo's POV

What. Just. Happened.

<OMG I KISSED GRIAN! WTF WHY DID I DO THAT I MEAN HE WAS TOTALLY FINE WITH IT BUT WHAT!>

Time skip ⏭

I going through my chests looking for the rock I showed Mumbo the other day when I find a suspicious looking bracelet in the chest

I pull on the bracelet I start to have visions my eyes when lavender purple and flamingo pink memories flick like a movie some I notice are buildings, some are moments with other hermits and some with Mumbo

I fall to the ground as the memories stop my breathing heavy and my vision blurry.
