Chapter 8 Death is real

Rena rode to the Byers home with Joyce and when they got there they seen the police Joyce and Jonathan got out there cars immediately followed by Rena Hopper was telling Joyce that they found Will in the river but Joyce didn't believe him " what ever you seen in that river was not my boy " she said Rena was sitting on the couch and crying with Jonathan over the lost of their little brother When she noticed Joyce grabbing Christmas lights " what is mom doing " Rena weeped softly " she's think will is communicating with us " he sighed " but.." Rena looked down not able to finish her sentence The more Joyce talked the thing that took her baby the more it broke Jonathan eventually went to his room slamming the door " Jonathan don't!" Yelped

But she stayed with Joyce to comfort her Rena her wasn't really listening to the Conversation she was more there to be moral support towards her mother figure These are the times where Rena wished that the Byers sister would come home she had never met Jenny Janet Winnie and Leah but the Byers family talked about them so lovingly

They also have pictures of the four girls Janet Leah Winnie and Jenny got separated from their brothers and their mother after the divorce that happened many years ago the three girls had moved with their father Lonnie
All she knew is that Leah is 16 and Jonathan's twin sister Janet was 18 and looked like Lonnie Winnie 17 and she's almost like a carbon copy of Joyce and Little Miss Jenny 12 and Wills twin sister"You should go home kid" hoper said to Rena " no I'm not going anywhere!" Rena argued back but hoper wasn't having it he grabbed Rena a put her in the car Hoper droped Rena off at her house and left Rena walked into the house it seemed like nobody was home but then someone grabbed her by her arms and she screamed

It was her uncle he was clearly drunk " where have you been!?" He yelled " nowhere " Rena mumbles " that's a damn lie you bitch" her uncle dug his nails into her skin and she let out a yell Her uncle continues to yell at her at one point he starts yelling and throwing things at her the house was a mess Rena's uncle stormed over to her with a plate in hes hands Rena looked terrified because she didn't know her Uncle was going to do with that place But unfortunately she found out very quickly Rena uncle hit her beside her head with the plate causing Rena is head to split open on the side

Rena screamed extremely loud as blood dripped over her face before she had lost consciousness and felt to the floor A couple of hours later she woke up in the hospital with Mrs. Mayfield Max and billy at her side " mom she's up!" Max yelled and billy came running " doll!" Billy cupping her cheek and kissing her
" are you ok!?" Billy asked worriedly Rena looked down thinking about what just happened in the three hours Jonathan being bullied her uncle knocking her unconscious and will Rena just broke down sobbing and billy could tell that Rena was tired of life " he's gone isn't he?" Maxs mom asked frowning and Rena just nodded max and her mom joined in on the hug

Then about an hour later the doctors send Rena home with mrs. Mayfield when the got back to their home billy already had clothes for Rena to sleep in But Billy's room looked different it was really...empty " why does your room look like this, baby?" Rena questions but billy stayed quiet letting Rena look around the room Rena had found a letter from Billy's grandma and sister asking his family to move back to California " billy..." Rena whimpers " yes, doll?" Billy was trying to make it seem less bad " your moving back to California aren't you?" Rena voice broke " billy just nodded " but you can come with us, doll my grandma would love to meet you!" Billy got up and rushed the girl was now crying

" I can't go" Rena said " what why not!?" Billy griped her shoulders gently " because I need to stay here for Jonathan and for the boys!" Rena said " and I have no money right now so I can't " Billy didn't know what to do he loved Rena so much but he also knew he wouldn't be able to keep a long distance relationship so he did something that he never wanted to do " Rena?" Billy sighs and the girl looked up at him " what?" " I'm breaking up with you..." Billy mumbles and Rena freezes " what, why?" Rena asked " I can't have a long distance relationship so I'm breaking up with you " billy said again Rena couldn't take it anymore so she just walked out of Billy's room and out the house " hey where are you going, honey!?" Mrs. Mayfield shouted but she's didn't answer Rena just walked but to her house and went to her room feeling numb

Billy's POV
I watched as the love of my life walked out my house I knew I shouldn't had broken up with her so soon she said that will one of the boys that she sees as her baby bother was found dead and her uncle beat her unconscious two hours ago

I didn't know what to do I had to tell her I was going back to California I walked downstairs to see Maxines mom coming back into the house in tears

" what did you do you ass!?" Max yells at and her mom tells her to watch her language " I broke up with her" I whispered and all eyes where me

" you what?!" Max said " I broke up with her because we're going back to California!"

BACK TO THIRD PERSON POV

Rena walked back into her uncles house and she went to her room crying and sobbing she couldn't believe billy broke with her and they weren't even dating for a month yet
The next morning Rena felt like crap she went downstairs and ate breakfast with her uncle " well look who's actually here "her uncle said and Rena said nothing " why are you here you little brat " uncle asked " I'm sorry for being a bitch uncle " Rena said She wasn't in the right state of mind but she had to fix herself " I realized I should act better and do what you ask " her uncle was shocked but used it to his advantage

" Your a cheerleader right?" He asked " yes I mostly cheer for the basketball team " she said picking at her food " I was talking to mrs. carver " Rena looked up as her uncle said the carvers name and she thought something bad " and I was thinking you and jason carver could have an arranged marriage at one point " her uncle fished Rena sighed and smiled a fake smile " sure when will is be uncle?" " after your senior year we just want you two to date first " Rena nod " I'll Do it "

Plot twist she got a date someone hates honestly this chapter was so hard to make because the way I had my chapters in my notes and how I had them on Wattpad they were mixed up so I had to rewrite the last couple of chapters😭
