Chapter 10: Into the woods

After about an hour of practicing their aim with guns Nancy Jonathan and Rena started their descent out of the woods Reina walked behind Jonathan and Nancy she really didn't wanna be bothered neither of them right now she was annoyed that she was a third wheel to Nancy and Jonathan when Nancy should feel like the third wheel she was annoyed that Nancy was just with them she was also just annoyed about how much attention Jonathan was giving Nancy

she just didn't want Nancy with them she didn't know why she didn't like Nancy wheeler so much (well she knew why) but she never really know where her hatred started Rena was now snapped out of her trance as Jonathan and Nancy started arguing about Nancy being herself when Jonathan took those pictures Jonathan had walked out of Nancy slightly pissed Rena had walked up a little faster catching up to Jonathan " he's actually a good guy" Nancy said defending her now boyfriend Steve " ok" Jonathan said again trying to not argue with Nancy but Jonathan slightly getting more mad every time she continued on the topic

Nancy just kept on going and going until the whole party stops Nancy Jonathan and Rena "you know I was actually thinking you were OK" " yeah" Jonathan asked angrily yeah, you know I was thinking Jonathan Byers is not the pretentious creep everybody thinks he is " Nancy's words are like venom to Jonathan " don't say that fucking shit, you know it's not true" Rena came to the defense of Jonathan " keep out of this Lovegood" Nancy said angrily " don't talk to my sister like that and honestly I could think the same thing about you Nancy wheeler it's not just another suburban girl who thinks she's rebelling by doing what every suburban girl does until that phase passes and she marries a one-time jock and they live out a perfectly boring life at the end of a cul-de-sac exactly like their parents when they were so depressing but now he they get it " Jonathan scuffs and walks away from Nancy

Rena didn't want to say anything because she knew if anything came out of her mouth they would be like pure hate so instead she followed Jonathan leaving Nancy not so far behind Night was quickly falling and the three teenagers brought out their flashlight Rena didn't get a very safe feeling from being in the woods in the dark she could also tell Nancy it was a bit on edge maybe because of her and Jonathan 's fight, no something was bothering her " hey are you ok?" She asked but Nancy didn't say anything

She asked again " Nancy are-" "shut up " Nancy mumbled and Rena rolled her eyes " I hear something" Nancy says Nancy starts immediately walking and both Jonathan and Reina follow behind her The three has stopped to look at a deer that had been hit by a car Nancy gasps and Jonathan just looked at it " oh my gosh" Rena whispers " it's been hit by a car" she's says " we can't just leave it" Nancy says and Rena agrees Nancy had picked up the pistol she had in her pocket and pointed it out to deer she didn't want to kill it she felt bad for killing it" I-I'll do it" Rena says taking her own gun out Nancy holds onto Jonathan's arms as Reina pulls out the gun and pointed to the deer she takes a deep breath before trying to shoot it but the deer slid away the three of them gasped and Rena instantly followed after it leaving both Jonathan and Nancy behind Rena had stopped finding a tree that looks discarded with goo all over it

Rena touch the tree but then she realized neither Jonathan or Nancy were running right behind her " Jonathan, Nancy!?" She yells out with no response Rena decides to crawl through the hole that was in the base of the tree once finally through the tree it was like a whole Nother dimension it was almost like a copy of Hawkins but everything was dark and gross and gooey her flashlight began to flicker and she hit it twice "dammit come on flashlight" but as she hit her flashlight once more she heard a growl and looked over to see a lengthy monster long limbs and flashy she immediately stepped back as quiet as possible trying not to alert the monster

But she accidentally stepped on a twig it made the monster stand up and it was easily stood at 7 feet the monster growled loudly at her and she screamed in terror starting to run towards the tree she had entered Jonathan had instantly heard his sisters screen and headed towards her " MOXIE!" He yelled racing towards Rena's blood curdling screams Nancy following behind him Jonathan had stopped at where Reina had left her stuff
"Rena?"
No answer
" Rena!"
No answer
" Rena!?"
No answer
Jonathan got extremely scared his sister had just disappeared and leaving all of her stuff but he also heard his sister scream again and again and he couldn't tell where it was coming from " where did she go!?" Nancy says in a panic " I-I don't know!" Both Jonathan and Nancy continue to scream in hopes to find Rena

Nancy and Jonathan continue to look for Rena and scream out Reina's name while Rena is on the other side running for her life screaming " Jonathan!...Jonathan!" Rena was scared for her life " Rena where are you!?" He cried out " I'm right here, I'm right here Jonathan!" She screams but her screams only sell like an echoed muffle " RENA!" Jonathan screams out again " Rena just fallow my voice" Jonathan instructed scared out of her mind but she did as he said following the sound of Jonathan's voice till she made it to the end of the tree but she was spotted by the monster she screamed as a chased her and all Jonathan could do was listen to her muffled screams

" Rena!" He yells he runs towards the tree that leads into the upside down looking at it in shock as Rena is in the upside down hiding behind a tree hoping that the monster doesn't find her she can hear it getting closer and closer and she starts to panic " Rena fallow my videos!" Jonathan says Rena looks over to see if she's right beside the tree that she entered she panics for a moment not knowing if she should make a beeline for it or not she scampers to the tree and sticks her hand out " Jonathan!" Jonathan instantly pulls her hand pulling her out of the upside down Rena groans in pain as she gets pulled out of the alternate dimension Rena falls on top of Jonathan and
Rena hugged tightly Jonathan trying not to let go as his sisterly figure cries " it's ok I got you I've got you" Jonathan whispers as Rena cry's

I didn't expect for this chapter to go by so fast but things happen I also like that we get to see more of Rena, Jonathan and Nancy I really do want to make like a second party with the siblings and Rena but not rn
