It's been a year since Rena, had moved to Hawkins and Rena has spent more time at Billy's house she also starting to get along really well with Max with max seeing her as an older sister that she never had with Reina around Billy goes easier on Max " hey max it's great to see you!" Rena Said patting her back " nice to see you to red " ever since max meet Rena she has always referred to her as red because of her hair color "Where's billy?" Rena asked " hes in the bathroom" " ok, I'll be upstairs if you need me, little Zoomer" Rena walked upstairs to Billy's room flopping on his bed and waiting
About a minute later billy walks into his room to find Rena just laying in his bed " what the fuck are you doing in my room moxie?!" Rena sat up " me and my shitty uncle got in a fight and I wanted to hang out " billy sighed then laughed tackling Rena onto his bed " what the hell!?" Rena laughed with her friend
" you know I can't wait to start high school with you billy..." Rena said with a smile, looking up at Billy's ceiling
( it was the end of the summer of 1982 and the school year was about to begin BTW )
" about that, doll..." Billy words trailed off Rena immediately got worried, billy only called her ' doll when something or someone upsets him " what what's wrong, what happened " Rena rambled sitting up quickly " nothing, nothing everything is ok...kind of" billy said trying to calm the girl " billy that's not helping tell mee" Rena whines almost sounding like her sister " I'm not going to Hawkins high" billy said calmly but Rena face said it all
" WHAT!" Rena yelled, she didn't want to start high school without her best friend oh no " then were are you going" Rena's eyes widened " a-are your going back to California, billy" tears started forming in her eyes the two had been friends for about three years they were inseparable and they both had romantic feelings for each other but She would never admit it out loud or to his face but Rena had a huge crush on billy so it would hurt her feelings if he just up and left her in this shitty town
" no no, I'm not going back to California, doll my dad is sending me a private school on the other side of town" billy whipped Rena's tears away but more fell out her eyes " the other side of the town... nooo!" Rena groaned and turned away from billy " oh come on it's just like 20 minutes away, doll" billy said playing with Rena's hair billy really liked Rena and not as a friend Rena meant a lot to him
He felt like she made him a better person so it broke his heart to see Rena cry over him they both knew 20 minutes wasn't bad but they would both miss each other Rena felt like if she wasn't billy for most of the time he would be a major asshole and would probably go back to hating max
" please look at me, doll " billy said sadly Rena turned back around to billy not looking him in the eyes " I'll try and talk to my dad " Rena's eyes brighten " really" billy nodded with a laugh " wait no please I don't want you to feel like you have to change school because of me!" She said frantically billy just laughed again
" no no, I really do want to go to high school with you, doll..trust me" billy said with a smile Rena was just about to say something but max came in " hey someone is on the phone your business, moxie"
Rena got up and went to the phone leaving max and billy " why do you always come in at the wrong time " billy crossed his arms " hey I'm just trying to help your girlfriend " max had shipped Rena and billy so hard
Rena had started a babysitting business to get out the house and away from her family billy rolled his eyes " yeah yeah just get out max" billy sent his sister away and Rena walked in getting her bag " I have to go" she said
" wait can't you stay a bit longer, doll " billy stood trying to keep his best friend in his room " I'm sorry billy but I promised to babysit the Sinclair siblings today" Rena said walking to billy " please Rena " the 15 year old whined witch made Rena laugh Billy never really complained about anything but when Rena had to leave him to babysit he would always getting whiney " I'm sorry billy " she smiles and hugged him " but I promise to see you tomorrow " Rena kissed Billy's cheek and ran downstairs " thanks for having me mrs. Mayfield!" Rena yell as she went out the door grabbing her skateboard and rolling down the street will billy watching her out the window " she will be mine " he said to himself
November 6, 1983
There the party sits as Michael Wheeler narrates the dungeons and dragons game " what is it" A young will Byers says "what if the Demogorgon!? Oh Jesus we're so screwed if it's the Demogorgon" Dustin Henderson says worried it's not that Demogorgon" Lucas says back
"An army of troglodytes charge into the chamber!" Mike narrates "troglodytes?" Dustin questions " told ya!" Lucas says taunting Dustin Mike meets a sudden pause " wait do you hear that boom..boom...BOOM!" Mike slams the table " that didn't come from the troglodytes...no that that came from something else "
all of the party members meaning closer as Mike narrates the game the party hoping that is not the Demogorgon " the Demogorgon!" Mike says as he puts down a two headed creature from dungeons and dragons the whole party groans " aww shit!" Dustin curses " will your action!?" " I don't know!" " fire ball him" Lucas yells " I have to roll a 13 or higher " will says in a panic " too risky cast a protection spell" Dustin says " don't be a pussy, fire ball him!" Lucas says trying to argue with Dustin " cast protection" Dustin argues back " the Demogorgon is tired of your silly human bickering" said Mike
" it stomps towards you " he continues " boom! " Mike yells " fire ball him!" Lucas shouts " another stomp, boom " cast protection" Dustin hollers " it roars in anger" The four boys all start talking at once as well makes his role " fire ball!" Will yells but the dice scatter everywhere The boys search everywhere in the basement hoping to find the dice and then it landed on a 13
" Mike " mrs. Wheeler opens the door to the basement " mom we're in the middle of a campaign!" He groans " you mean the end? 15 after, and Rena's here to get Lucas" she said Mike goes upstairs by the boys look for The dice " does a seven count?" Well asked the other two party members in the room
" did Mike see it?" Lucas asked and will shook his head " then it doesn't count" The boys got ready and Lucas ran upstairs to go meet his ride home
Rena honked the horn of her Porsche as Lucas says goodbye to the party and gets into the car " hey kid how was the campaign?" Rena asked as Lucas got in her car " it was good but Mike's mom cut it off because it was a school night" The boy said
Rena chuckled "sorry to hear about that kiddo but I'm gonna stop in real quick to use the bathroom stay here" Rena walks into the boys house and greets Mrs. and Mr. Wheeler as she makes her way to the bathroom
Making her way out she greets the rest of the party "Mike Dustin Will it's great to see boys again!" She said sometimes when Reina look after Lucas the whole party would come but for the most part she only babysit it Lucas Erica and Dustin" hey moxie" The other three set in unison the party had really looked up to rena as a sisterly figure even though Mike, Dustin and Will had older siblings the same age as her there's just something about Rena that made them feel comfortable
it was really easy to make this chapter before 1983 but now I have to start watching the season for dialogue and things and it's really hard so can't wait for the next chapter because of the things out there since it's following your personal storyline but not the original storyline you get it
