Dante, a young dragon living in a world filled with humans, furries and other dragons, gets his life turned around when he is attacked by some acid spitting creature. The way he is saved is rather peculiar...

When we got to my room, I pulled out a board game and explained the rules. At one point, I lifted my head and noticed Dante was struggling to concentrate.
Mojo: "You good?"
Dante: "Dunno. My energy's low, probably all that running around. It tired me out too."
I plugged him in and put a cushion under his head, just as a near empty battery appeared on his visor.
Dante POV
I opened my eyes to an underworld like scene, I had a young australian shepherd in my arms. There was a white light in the distance. I ran towards it. Suddenly, I felt my wings burning and my visor being broken through. In agony, I dropped to the ground. I closed my eyes, put the dog next to me and covered it with my wings to protect it. I snapped awake, breathing heavily. Mojo was clutching my shoulders, he was sporting a worried expression.
Mojo: "You okay, man? Your heart rate was extremely high!"
Dante: "Nightmare, that's all."
There was a moment of silence.
Dante: "Wanna play rock paper scissors?"
Mojo: "Nah... Wanna play rock paper scissors lizard Spock?"
Dante: "What's that?"
Mojo: "So basically, it's really simple. Scissors cuts paper, paper covers rock, rock crushes lizard, lizard poisons Spock, Spock smashes scissors, scissors decapitates lizard, lizard eats paper, paper disproves Spock, Spock vaporizes rock, and as it always has, rock crushes scissors."
Dante: "Okayyyyyyyyy..."
We played for ages, it's surprisingly fun. Then suddenly:
Kyle[C]: "Cadet, we need you!"
I look at Mojo, he presumably got the same message. He looks at me with a confident expression. We nod at each other, then dash off.
