Hannah POV:
Marc and Tristan fight as if their lives depend on it. It looks violent and brutal. I feel my heart beating faster and fast as the fight progresses. A loud crack suddenly breaks through the sound of the cheering crowd. A broken bone I'm sure. The sound makes me sick to my stomach. Tristan screams in pain "your fucking asshole!" Two men help him up from the ground and support him all the way towards the parked cars. His arm hangs lifeless down the side. His shoulder is crooked and a bloody stain begins to form on his jersey. Marc doesn't even seem to be affected by the pain he has inflicted on his friend.

"Damn. He sure must have pissed him off" Mateo says and makes a grimace. "And Marc is definitely not someone you want to piss off. He got some mad skills. A true G.I. Joe"

"G.I. Joe? His name is Marc?"

"I know his name." Meto laughs "A G.I. Joe. A cold blooded killer. An elite soldier that kills on command. So sexy"

A cold-blooded killer ?! How am I supposed to live in the same house as the guy who even the other wolves think is out of the ordinary. Someone who even they will not mess with! I'm no longer in doubt. I'm not safe here. I'm going home soon. I have to.

Mateo looks at Marc and then at me "You are so lucky. I bet he is just as skilled in the bed as in the field" he raises an eyebrow and awaits my answer.

"I wouldn't know" I look down, not comfortable with the subject. Why does wolfs talk about these things? And then with strangers?

"You haven't jumped him yet? Damn. I would have thrown myself at him the second he told me we were mates"

"But we are not supposed to be mates. It's a mistake." Marc told me. I thought he would have told the other wolfs as well "Once they find a way to break the bond I'm leaving" it feels good to say it out loud.

"The moon goddess doesn't make mistakes. Just wait. He will come around. And when he does you will mark each other" He sounds quite confident, but he is definitely mistaken! There is no way I'm staying here. When I don't answer he continues "you should wear something really sexy for the party tomorrow. Show him what he is missing out on. Maybe even make him a little jealous" he bump my shoulder with his arm. The closeness is making me uncomfortable so I take a step away from him whilst correcting my dress so it doesn't look obvious that I'm trying to create some space.

But one thing is sure. I'm not wearing anything that could in any way tempt Marc. I don't want him to think that I give myself to him. I know he is the master of the house and if he demands it I must, but I will definitely not be the one to initiate it.

"I'm not going to the party" I say. I'm not a fan of parties. People get drunk and forget all about personal space and boundaries. Hopefully Marc won't mind me staying home. But he will probably be to busy with Kendal to notice that I'm not there.

"What? Why? Its Luna's birthday. We all celebrate her. It's her only birthday wish every year. A night where we all come together and have a great time" He explain. "It's a tradition amongst the wolfs. And we take our traditions very seriously" he laughs a little but still he sounds serious.

It would be very rude of me not to show my respect to the Luna. She has been nothing but kind to me since I arrived. "I didn't know it was her birthday. I guess I should attend then"

I look back at the training field and I catch a glimpse of Marc looking over at Mateo and me. His eyes are dark and fuming with rage. It's only for a second and then he is surrounded by the group of girls. They flick their hair and run their fingers over his arms, shoulders and chest whilst giving him big smiles. I think they're flirting with him.

"Damn. You might wanna claim your man before they crawl down his pants" Mateo laughs.

"I'm not.. It's not like that. I don't want him and he doesn't want me" I say keeping my voice low. I don't want to talk about this crazy situation. I don't even know what is going on. And I definitely don't know what I can tell Mateo. I don't trust him.

After a while Nelly show up at the fields. She waves at me and yells "Hannah! Come! I got a present for you!" A present!? It's not my birthday? I walk over to her car. The music is blasting out loudly so everyone can here it. "I didn't know you size so I had to guess" she pulls out a stack of shoeboxes. "So let's try them on!" She is quite enthusiastic about the boxes but I can't except a gift like this. It's too expensive. "I can't Nelly. It's too much" I take one last look at the shoeboxes and then I look away. "Don't be silly. Marc asked me to buy you some. He's not usually a man who buys gifts to take them. I bought you some dresses. You can try them on and then pick the one you want"

They are a gift from Marc? First he act all nice cooking me breakfast and making conversation and now gifts. I had my suspicions at breakfast but this only makes me even more convinced. This must be a trick. He is trying to trick me into telling him about my village no doubt. Just like Victor said they would. But it won't work. I saw the way he just crushed his friend. I can't even imagine what he would do to my coven. He doesn't care for witches so clearly he would be even more brutal when killing my kind. I bet he won't even let me go home. They probably planed to kill me before hunting down my coven. I can't let it happen. I have to warn them. But to do so I have to escape this pack. I have to run.
