Hannah POV:
After the dinner we drive back to the house. I don't know what to say or what to expect from him. At dinner the others talked about the party Friday. And then the talked about some summertime-BBQ that apparently is a tradition here and then they talked about sex. They talk about sex as if it's an everyday subject. I tried to distract myself but it was hard. They truly are animals. I found it calming to inhale the smell on the shirt. I can't explain what it is, but his warm and spicy sent is just so amazing and calming. As Marc drives into the driveway I feel a chill run through me. What if do owe him something for the food. If he decides that he wants me. What should I do? I could run upstairs and into the bathroom in my bedroom. But he could definitely catch me. The wolf. I wanna see the wolf again. "I think I'm going for a walk" I say without looking at him, hoping that he will let me go alone. "Do you want company or do you want to walk alone?" He ask. I don't know what to say. I want to be alone but I don't want to be rude. "I can take a hint. If you wanted company you would have answered by now. It's okay to want to be alone. Just please keep the hoodie on so others know you are my guest okay?" He says and open the door. "Okay" I say and jump out of the truck. I'm excited at the thought of seeing the wolf again. Hopefully it will give me some peace of mind.

As I walk through the edge of the forest I wonder if the wolf even lives around here. Maybe it just followed me back and then went back to the pack it came from. I hear a sound behind me and when I turn around a pair of golden eyes looks directly at me. The black wolf is sitting on the green forest floor no more than 20 few feet away from me. How did it come this close without making a sound? It just observes me. It makes no effort to get closer to me or to leave. I just stare into its eyes. They look so deep and full of emotions. Like a million thoughts are running through its head.

"Hello" I say, not quite sure how to start a conversation with an animal. Its ears shoot up. "Do you understand me?" I ask. It followed me back last time, so I guess I does. It gives me a nod. "Are you a boy or a girl?" I ask curious to find out. It stares at me without moving. "Oh.. You obviously can't respond anything other than yes or no. Are you a boy?" I ask again. It nods once again. "Okay. Do you belong to the pack Marc belongs to?" I ask. He doesn't respond. "I promise I won't tell anyone that you're talking to me. Or well whatever this is" I say, thinking that it is the reason that he won't answer my question. He is scared that people will find out. He nods his head. "You are a part of the same pack?" I ask to make sure that is why he nodded. He nods once again. "I've never seen a wolf before. I imagined that you would be big, but I never thought you were this big" I step closer to the wolf. I want to touch the fur, but even though I feel more comfortable around him than anyone else here, he is still a deadly creature. He rises to all four feet and tilts his head a little. "I'm really grateful that you saved me yesterday" I confess. He slowly takes a step towards me and then another. I stand completely still not quite sure what to do. The distance was a nice safety. He stops and sits down again. I squeeze the sleeve in my hand and try to calm myself. He tilts his head again and look at me with soft eyes. He lowers his head a bit, as if he is trying to show me that he won't hurt me.

"Why did you save me?" I ask, but then I remember that he can't answer "Sorry. You can't answer" I hug myself not sure what to say to him. "Do you live around here?" I ask. He nods. "Do you have family here?" I then ask. He nods once more. "That's nice. I miss my family. Or well my mom" I confess and feel a tear in the corner of my eye. I quickly wipe it away and hope that he didn't notice. "Hopefully they will find a way to break this bond thing fast, so I get to go home" I say and give him a smile, hoping he won't think I'm pathetic. "I'm not sure how it works. But apparently I have to stay here while they figure it out" I say and instantly regret opening up to the wolf. What if he knows Marc. What if he tell him how ungrateful I am? I have been given shelter and food so I should be happy. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean it like that. I.. I'm.. I'm grateful for the shelter I've been given" I say hoping that he won't be offended.

A raindrop hits my cheek. And then another. I look up and see the grey clouds behind the crowns of the trees. He gets up and turn around, but looks back at me. He nods his head and take a step forward, as if telling me to follow. I walk up to him but keep a safe distance. He then starts walking but at a slow pace so that I can keep up. The rain picks up, but we are at the end of the forest and the house is within reach. He stops and sits down. "Come on. You're going to get soaked" I say and continue to walk at a fast pace towards the house, but he doesn't fallow. Instead he turns and walk back into the forest. I run the last 100 feet until i reach the house. I let myself in, taking off my wet and muddy shoes, leaving them in the hallway. There is no one in the kitchen or living room. Maybe he went out, I think to myself as I walk slowly through the house and up the stairs.

As i open the door to the guest bedroom, the door to Marc's bedroom open as well. I quickly spin around to face him, but it's not Marc I see. Kendal exits the room an close the door behind her. She is wearing a white dress shirt with only a few buttons done. She's not wearing pants. Her legs are long and has a golden glow. Her hair is tussled and she fixes her lipstick and smiles at me before she walks past me and down the stairs. I hurry inside my room and shut the bedroom door. I don't want Marc to think that I'm lurking in the hall. I take off the hoodie and my dress. It's wet so I hang it on a hanger to dry. I hope the smell won't disappear from the hoodie due to the rain.

My feet are dirty so I wash them before getting ready for bed. I also brush my teeth and braid my hair. I keep thinking about the wolf. I wonder if he lives in the woods. Or maybe nearby, since he walked back into the forest instead of running home.

I open the closet and realize that both of my dresses are wet, and that I have nothing to wear. I guess I have to wear something from Nelly then. I pick out a pair of thin sweatpants and a fitted t-shirt.

I take the pillow and duvet of the bed, and make myself as comfortable as possible in the bathroom. I'd rather sleep out here behind a locked door. He's probably satisfied after Kendals visit, but what if he decided that he wants more now that she left. The floor is cold so I wrap the duvet around me and close my eyes. I twist and turn, but there is no way to be comfortable. And I'm thirsty. Maybe I could go downstairs and take a glass of water. He is probably a sleep now anyway.

I step out of the bedroom and just as I close the door behind me, Marc's door opens. He's only wearing grey sweatpants. He throws a towel on the floor and steps out of the room. His body is very muscular. His arms are toned and his chest and stomach have visibly toned muscles. Actually they are more than toned, his actual has a six pack. I can't say that is a very common thing around the witches. He is definitely good looking. "Did you enjoy your walk" he ask with a grin and I snap out of my staring. I lower my head and feel a warmth spread across my face. I hope he didn't catch me staring at his body. "Yes it was nice. I didn't know it was going to rain, so I got a little wet" I say not sure how to talk with him. "You should have just called me. I would have picked you up" he says and walks towards me. "Call you?" I ask not quite sure what he means. "Oh i didn't give you my phone number. Give me your phone and I'll save it" he says and stretch out his arm. "I don't have a phone" I answer. Only council members have a phone. Other witches aren't allowed. "Really? Then how do you talk with people" he ask, clearly surprised by my answer. "I don't" I reply. "What about your parents? Haven't you talked to them while you've been here?" He then ask. "No" i say, wishing that I actually could call my mom. "Do you want to use my phone? To call them?" He offers. "Only council members have cellphone. So I can't" I explain. "But thank you" I add. "Are you going somewhere?" He ask and look at the clothing I'm wearing. "No. I was just thirsty" I say and hope he won't mine that I planned to go into the kitchen without permission. "Me too. Come on" he says and walks down the stairs. I hesitate for a moment before following him downstairs.

He opens a cabinet door and take out two glasses. Do you want something with or without alcohol?" He ask and looks at me. I try to keep my eyes to the ground, but it is hard when he is walking around like that. What if he attacks me? If he overpower me? "Hannah?" I instantly look up. The sound of my name coming out of his mouth takes me by surprise. It's the first time I've ever heard him say my name and it sounds so compelling. So smooth and warm. Like warm honey. I lower my head once again and answer "without please" "ice tea?" He ask and I simply nod. I haven't tasted it before, but right now I'll drink anything just to get back into my room.

He pours the amber liquid into two glasses. He offers me one and slowly I walk towards him and the drink. "Thank you" I say in a quiet voice. "Your welcome" he says softly. When he speaks in this soft voice I feel something inside me shifting in a good way. Yet I don't feel comfortable. He made it clear that he didn't want me around him and now he is acting sweet and kind. I don't know what to expect.
