Cassie's POV
I rolled my eyes and sat my phone down on the bed next to me.
I'm not a bad influence.
Well... No I'm not.
I laid back on the bed, feeling totally numb.
This is fucking boring.
I stood up and my head rushed and made me lightheaded. I steadied myself enough to grab some money, my phone and my room key and I stumbled out the door and into the hotel hallway.
Once I out of the hotel in central Los Angeles and headed south against my better judgement.
I soon found myself in the dirty streets of the ghetto and I smiled.
This is where the party is at! I thought and laughed silently.
I heard music pouring out of a bar/club, the security gaurds that were supposed to be at the door were gone and I walked in as if I was supposed to be there, A band played familiar music.
"And do you really trust your tongue or did you bury the taste?
And is this fantasy real, or is it all home-made?
And did you call me last night just 'cause you couldn't get laid?
Ladies and gentlemen, I introduce the selfish machine." The male vocalist sang loudly. I cheered and clapped loudly with the people around me.
After the song Pierce The Veil disappeared into the crowd and I smiled and went to the bar.
"Can I get a shot of tequila?" I asked the bartender, and I blinked to hide my dilated eyes.
He looked at me for a second before pouring it in a shot glass and putting in front of me.
"Its on the house." He smiled at me, I returned it and brought the glass to my lips.
I closed my eyes and tipped the glass so the liquor poured down my throat. I winced at the burn of the alcohol and I sat the glass down.
"Another." I said with a smile, the coke making its appearence again. The bartender, named Nic, filled the glass again and I shot it back.
I sat down the glass and looked at the bartender expectantly. He sighed and was about to pour me another when someone sat down on the stool next to me.
"If you keep taking shots like that then you will be wasted as fuck." A musical voice laughed.
Avery's POV
I woke up and looked at my wall with the quote, 'Be as crazy and as different as you want, just know that you're not alone-A6' in black, cursive ink. I wrote it on there with a black sharpie, later painting over it with a thicker, darker black. I read it every morning as I slowly opened my crusty eyes.
I stepped onto the warm, plush carpet and walked towards my laptop. No new e-mails. That's good 'cause I didn't feel like going through them anyways. I leaned back in the moving chair and took in a big breath. Which got me thinking...I wonder what it would be like to smoke. Just to take a puff of the tobacco and nicotine rolled stick and feel the smoke invade my lungs as I breathed in heavily, yet relaxed. I was curious now. I had a lighter in my bag, just need to get a hold of a cigarette. I know no one who smokes. Besides Andy..
I pulled out my phone and opened the email I got from him giving me his number. I typed it in and opened a new text to him.
Hey, I have a question. It's Avery.
