Chapter: 21 "Its just a movie"

I sat here bawling my eyes out to the death of Fred. I will not and I repeat I will not forgive the producers for killing him of.

"Athena it's just a movie." Jeremiah said while he laughed at my face.

I grabbed the remote and threw it his way making it hit his face. "It's not just a movie Jeremy!?!" I yell at him knowing that he hates when people mess up his name.

Jayden just started laughing while I was still crying my eyes out. "And look what they fucking did to Draco he looks like an albino rat?!?" I yell looking at the paused TV.

"True they did him dirty." Steven said looking at Dracos face on the screen.

"I will not talk to you because you ship Dramione!?" I say pointing my finger at Steven.

"How do you know about that?" He said looking absolutely terrified because of what I had just said. All of us just started laughing while I said that Belly was the reason because she was the one who told me.

All of us were looking at the TV watching The Vampire Diaries because I made them. The guys first acted like they didn't like it but now 2 episodes in and they are already obsessed.

"Athena could I talk to you for a bit." The voice that belongs to my father says behind us. I didn't even turn around before I answered.

"No." I say shortly not wanting to make a big deal in front of everyone.

"Incase you want to make a big deal in front of everyone I suggest that you come along" He said still calm.

I just got up for the sake of my friends and before I could walk away Conrad grabbed my hand. "I will be alright I promise." I say squeezing his hand in mine. He let go of me and I started following my father to my room upstairs.

"What do you need?" I ask crossing my hands over my chest as he closed the door behind him.

"I have something important to tell you before I leave Cousins for some time." He said adjusting his tie.

"Continue." I say looking at him with one eyebrow raised. I knew that there was something that they were hiding.

"You know since your mother and I are divorced and you live with her." He said trying to sound calm. "I have decided to take you guys in till next summer." He said fast so that I could barely hear.

"You what!?" I shout. Im pretty sure that they downstairs have heard my shouting by now.

"Yes you heard me right, I have decided since your mother has taken care of you for the past year to buy a house in Cousins and take you guys in for a year." He said while he stared at me for an reaction.

I just walked past him and left the room. I had nothing to say and to be honest I kinda liked the new idea. I mean getting to spend every minute of my time with Conrad and Jeremiah is just something that I could've wished for. And the Cousins were close to Duke so it was perfect well except for the fact that I was supposed to live with my dad.

I walked downstairs to where the group was and they were all sitting on the couches in silence. "I guess you guys heard all of that huh?" I say lifting my hands up in the air.

They all stuttered trying to form a answer. I just chuckled and sat by Con curling into his side while I closed my eyes.

"Did you know Jay?" I ask opening my eyes to look at Jayden. He was staring into his hands.

"Yea they told me yesterday when you left because of your fight with dad." He said getting up and going to the kitchen and I decided to follow him.

"I'm sorry for not telling you about dad cheating." I say getting a red bull from the fridge. "I wanted you to be happy and not think about it while it was summer." I say giving Jayden a comforting smile.

"Yeah I get it Nina." He said as he drank his water. I opened my arms for him so that I could hug him and he hugged me back. It was as if he really needed that one hug from someone and I just realised how little time I spent with my brother and that I know absolutely nothing about his life.

Steven and Jayden left to go on dates with their girlfriends while Belly was still on the date with Cam. Jeremiah was still home and me and Conrad were cleaning up the mess that the moms made.

"Hey you know we have never actually been on a date." Conrad says as he is washing a plate.

"Incorrect." I say remembering something. "Third grade tea party." I chuckled to myself at the thought.

"No Nina I mean like an actual date." He said,finishing washing the plate.

"Pray tell what do you have in mind." I say as I turned to look at him with excitement spreading all over me.

"I don't really know but we could go down to beach or have a picnic." Con said as he smiled my way.

"Yeah of course I'd like that." I say walking towards him.
I pulled him into a kiss as he wrapped his arms around my waist. Good how much I love this feeling.

"Ok guys ew stop." Jeremiah said as he opened the fridge to get milk. I guess that the kitchen does really now want me and Conrad to be together.

"Jere we all know that you wished that was Belly and you." I said making him choke on his milk. Conrad started laughing and Jeremiah wiped his mouth.

"That is not correct." He said as he pointed a finger towards me.

"Yeah and I was born yesterday." I say grabbing the glass he used to drink milk from. I washed it as Conrad and Jeremiah had a conversation about how Jere should help out more.

"Okay guys chill out I washed the cup let it go." I say drying the cup and putting it on a shelf. Jeremiah left as Conrad and I cleaned the last bits outside.

A/N: ...... I absolutely have no excuse for why I didn't write for a whole day except for the fact that I was reading the song of Achilles and sleeping through the most of it. 😭😭

Do not come for me I'm begging you. Oh and also I had to change the whole "Athena going to Yale" thing because she'd have to drive nine hours from Cousins to the university which makes absolutely no sense 💀.

OH AND ALSO IM BEGGING YOU TELL ME WHAT TO WATCH BECAUSE I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO WATCH 😭😭😭.
