{Chaennie} - when you fight with your dad (requested)

"I can't wait to lay in bed and cuddle with our girl," Rosie said as she and Jennie walked down the hall to your shared bedroom.

They're both exhausted after having such a long and busy day and they want nothing more than to curl up in bed with you and get some sleep.

However, just as Rosé put her hand on the door to open it, they both froze.

"Wait," Jennie said. "Do you hear that?"

They heard something coming from inside the bedroom and as you got more frustrated, it got louder.

You were yelling.

The girls had no idea as to what was going on or who you were so angry with but it was clear that you were very upset.

"I don't understand how you could do this!" You yelled as the girls quietly opened the door. "How could you do this to her!?"

You were pacing the room, talking on your phone through the tears blurring your eyes.

"What has mom ever done to you? Love you? Support you? Encourage you? She's taken such great care of you and has shown you more love than anyone else and this is what you do to her? Cheat on her!?"

Rosie and Jennie looked at each other in shock.

"I can't believe you, dad! Why would you ever do such a thing? How stupid are you? To throw away years of a loving and beautiful marriage! And for what? Your secretary of all people? You're sleazy!"

They couldn't believe what they were hearing.

Your dad has cheated on your mom.

Over the phone, your dad was attempting to make excuses about the situation.

He tried to say his relationship with your mom hadn't been working for a while and since you live with your girlfriends and not your parents now, you didn't see everything that happened behind closed doors.

But that wasn't the truth.

You don't have to be there twenty-four seven to know that your father is your mom's entire world.

They've been together for so long, creating such a beautiful relationship that your mom thought would last forever.

She was his best friend and he was hers.

And it broke your heart when your mom called you a little while ago in tears, telling you that she had found your dad cheating with his secretary.

It broke you and you've been yelling at your dad and expressing your disappointment over the phone ever since.

"Just stop!" You yelled as you grew tired of hearing your dad lie and brush it off as nothing. "I can't believe you'd do something like this. Don't talk to me again and leave mom alone."

You ended the call and threw your phone on the bed with a groan before you sat down and started to cry.

"Y/N?" Jennie spoke, startling you.

"How long have you been here?" You asked, wiping your eyes.

"A couple of minutes." Rosé said as she and Jennie sat down beside you.

"We heard what happened," Jennie said as she put her hand on your thigh.

You sniffled as you thought back to everything.

The phone call from your mom in tears.

Your dad being a jerk.

Your family falling apart.

"I don't know why he'd ever cheat on her." You mumbled. "She loved him so much and this is what he does to her."

Jennie laid her head on yours while Rosie kissed your head softly.

"Men suck," Jennie said jokingly and you and Rosé chuckled in response.

"I'm sorry," Rosie said. "Your mom doesn't deserve that and neither do you, baby."

"I think I'm going to pay my mom a visit." You said as a tear fell down your cheek. "She said that she's going to divorce him and kick him out."

"Good for her!" Jennie grinned.

"You know, you're just like your mom in many ways." Rosie started to say. "You're wonderful and strong just like her. No matter what life throws at the two of you, you always rise up and make it through."

"Yeah?" You sniffled as you turned to look at her. "She's pretty amazing."

Having bonded with your mom so much over the time that you've been together, Jennie and Rosie agreed with you on that wholeheartedly.

"She is." Jennie agreed. "She'll be okay. Your dad will just have to move on with his life. Your mom will make it through. You'll be there for her and so will we."

"We'll pay her a visit tomorrow," Rosie promised. "We've got the day off so we'll go with you. Everything will be okay."

"We promise you," Jennie said as she squeezed your shoulder.

"I love you both. Thank you for being here for me."

"Always, baby," Rosé promised, holding onto you tightly as Jennie did the same, bringing you all of the comfort you so desperately needed as you tried to accept the fact that your family would no longer be the same.

It wasn't ever going to be an easy pill to swallow.

But having your girls there by your side to support you and your mom through this hard time, in time, everything would be okay.
